::waves:: Hi everyone! I’m new to the Hermes subforum and have just started dipping my toes into the wonderful world of H silks.

Here are my choices from Spring/Summer 2023 so far.

Les Jardin des Peintres in the blue cw.

I tried on the Costume de Fete, the one with the lilac border which I was sure I was going to love, but I didn’t like the way it tied. Also looked at the Carnaval des Animaux in the bleu jean cw, but it seemed a little duplicative with my JdP.

So addicting!

First Tulipomania : pic 1 against a navy blue jumper, pic 2 with a charcoal grey jumper, pic 3 on cobalt blue, hopelessly trying to knot the scarf à la @Cookiefiend (and not succeeding, as always), pic 4 against light grey and trying to knot à la @Awillow (and not achieving it properly) and then, a few close ups on the beauties.

Having seen the blue IRL yesterday, I didn't try it on because the blue is what I call "hard" and not luminous, rather a fall blue for the dark days of the year. But it must look beautiful against colors which brighten it up.

Agree! Ferries always invoke the best vacation memories for me - growing up in CA it was the ferry to Catalina Island, and more recently the wonderful Grey Lady from Hyannis --> Nantucket! :girlsigh:

This afternoon was a little scarf playtime. I walked by a mirror and caught an accidental glimpse of the vermillion and unfortunately felt that it clashes with my complexion. Then I remembered that I once had the vermillion Tous les bateaux and sold it for the same reason. Lesson learned.
I am also now wondering if I should send both back and order the blue. A total turn :sad:

The blue is gorgeous. I saw it at my local store and it was really stunning in person.

Happy Easter to all the Scarfies celebrating today! I spent the morning playing with the blue Tulipomanie and as promised some mod shots for those considering. The truest expression of the blue is definitely on optic white:

I hope these are helpful to any scarfies considering. I am thrilled to add this to my beautiful elegant argent cw. They each have a distinct vibe and will work in very different ways for me. I hope you will indulge just one more photo. Like many of you I adore tulips and was amazed by how beautifully my Anna Weatherly Old Master Tulips mug and the argent cw matched!

I think they are all lovely and this one would be my second choice @Marie-the-Mary. It looks beautiful on the aqua, but it is light. I found cw01 to be the perfect compromise with the greens and the fuschia hem. For such a beautiful design, the cw choices were surprisingly challenging...
