Thank you everyone for sharing the intel! Very happy to see Annie Faivre is back, although I don't care for the doubleface scarves in general. I've been completing my Faivre collection by buying vintage scarves lately and very little new from the boutique. Maybe time to break the trend!

Apparently this season is where I get to share random trivia! The gorgeous flamed petals of the tulips like the ones in Tulipomanie made these "broken" tulips the most valuable during the Mania. It turns out to be caused by mosaic virus, which weakens the plant and its descendants, so most of those tulips died out (or were destroyed to save the other tulips). Modern breeders have managed to re-introduce the coloring, but not quite as flamboyantly. Looks like both Cheval Sirene and Le Jardin des Peintres (both double faced) are above the Retour now that I’ve had a better look.
