wow- are these really just 140? They seem like they have so much more "wrapping" going on than a 140....like the old 180cm...
You are probably right. I was assuming these are 140s but looking at how much fabrics there are they could well be 180. I guess we will see eventually when they appear on the website. Right now other than the reference numbers and pictures, we don't know much of anything else.

So I visited the Hermès website last night looking to see if there were any new designs I may be interested in and saw this Jardins a Sintra and put it in my cart all night. I really should be concentrating on next season, but pulled the trigger this morning. Waaaaaah! And, I apologize for posting this in the SS19 thread, but it’s somewhat related. I don't know quite how we got here, I'm not 'bidding'. I was NOT suggesting the theme was Polish (although it would actually be great if H did a Polish theme) that was someone else, I was saying if it was Polish it was unlikely to be Evgenia Miroschnichenko. My point to @emjani was most Polish artists would not be celebrating Socialist Realist (Soviet) art and H normally try to be at least a little political sensitive/ Def more than a touch of Taslitzky in that scarf (NOT suggesting he did it!!! so no one need tell me he's dead, I know).

I don't think it's Evgenia Miroschnichenko anyway, although perhaps like @Angelian I've been hoping H do something with her soon because she's amazing, my Zabas are among my favourite scarves. My SA at the time was Russian (as am I in origin) and she hated them, told me not to buy these "tourist scarves".

TO ME it looks like figures and animals have escaped their stories and fairytales and are running through the city/real life to the horror of some ad delight of others. Disclaimer: I have no inside knowledge this all came from my head where reality is very transient anyway. It's not going to be a scarf for me, I prefer Perspectives and Peony.

My 1st association to Animaloplis scarf (sorry for spelling)
There was some "disaster" (I don't remember exactly what it was) in Moscow like 4 years ago, if I remember correctly. I think a hippo escaped from the zoo and some other animals did, too. I think the picture of the hippo made the front page wandering in the cityscape (b/c it was so incongruous.
2nd Association: Now, does anyone remember the movie w/Bruce Willis, "12 Monkeys" where the animals are freed/or escape from the zoo as part of a general breakdown in society? Movie is like 20 years old. But a scene in the movie of some lions wandering among city buildings reminds me of this scarf.

I'm a big fan of Terry Gilliam, 12 Monkeys is a classic. There is a modern TV series I've watched some of, it's decent but doesn't have the magic of the film by any means.

Thank you @yodaling1 @weN84 for posting all the pictures.
I love everything in Animapolis except the big snake monster at the center , I am afraid of reptiles. However, the scarf is more beautiful than the picture. My favorite animals in this scarf are the cheerful little dog, the dreamy unicorn and the adorable dinosaur at the conner. Found a pair of ferris wheel earrings in England, the colours are matched.
This is CW01.
Thank you for letting me share.

Yay!!! We’ll be scarf twins! I think it’s such a special one! Can’t wait to see it IRL!
