Scarves Hermès Spring/Summer '19 Scarves

I’ve a bad and sad history with mousselines , too much somehow or maybe just too feminine.
However I see light with all the new formats; I’m loving the lozenge, wowing over the ombré and bananas over the plaid bandanas, happy days !

Are you able to wear neutrals? (I don't know what is left after brights and pales are eliminated. LOL.) I can wear any shade of pink from pale to bright including salmon, although most other pastel shades are a challenge. I can wear deeper and brighter shades of blue, but I cannot wear light blue, pale yellow, pale mauve, taupe, ivory, cream, or beige as these colors wash me out and make me look like the living dead (which is not a good thing). I need to wear brights, black, and white, primarily. Yellows are tricky for me, and they must be either very bright, or more toward orange.

The current Sieste au Paradis colorways present challenges for me, too. I hope that at least one will work for me (and for you, too).

Who knows what will suit with Hermes , I’m often taken by surprise when a colour I wouldn’t normally wear ,such as natural beige,is paired unexpectedly and magic happens.
I wear red easily , but not when it’s next to a vivid blue, otherwise the red Sieste that’s been shown would have been for me.
Right now I’ve high hopes for BBCs Sieste , it’s saturated, not overly bright and not too high contrast.
This is a shawl I’ll have to try in store, knowing UK that won’t be for a long time!

So I visited the Hermès website last night looking to see if there were any new designs I may be interested in and saw this Jardins a Sintra and put it in my cart all night. I really should be concentrating on next season, but pulled the trigger this morning. Waaaaaah! And, I apologize for posting this in the SS19 thread, but it’s somewhat related. without any other info to go by except the picture- the silk looks like charmeuse (satin silk...) rather than regular twill silk. Satin (a modified twill weave) has more float threads than twill (or fewer intersection of warp and weft, which ever way makes more sense...it's the same thing...) That makes charmeuse really really drapey

Oh, that would be lovely! (I was thinking it would be an actual skin of some kind, which would limit the colors and skyrocket the price.) This season is like every one of my reissue wishlists, if it comes in a cool color too.

They both really look like it, don't they? And yes, I'd never imagined madras in a mousseline but it's gorgeous!

Oh dear, yes. Though the cost of a mousseline and embroidery (the thought of embroidering onto mousseline is making me twitch right there) would be stratospheric...

I love Sintra and have a different CW. It's a fascinating design.

I have that colorway and love it. I almost bought a second for a pillow.

I had my SA hold the cobalt blue/purple with the orange hem but asked him to let it go a couple of weeks ago. I always wanted to see this one IRL but someone posted about it on IG this morning and I went over the edge... LOL! I really didn’t want to spend any more in past seasons silks when there’s so much I like in the new season, but c’est la vie!

Thank you @yodaling1 @weN84 for posting all the pictures.
I love everything in Animapolis except the big snake monster at the center , I am afraid of reptiles. However, the scarf is more beautiful than the picture. My favorite animals in this scarf are the cheerful little dog, the dreamy unicorn and the adorable dinosaur at the conner. Found a pair of ferris wheel earrings in England, the colours are matched.
