I think the increase in UK could be in £ only?In the UK the stores generally refuse to sell to customers until the price hike (beginning of Jan, usually 02) eve if they have them in.
This year it will be 12.5% rather than the usual 10%.
I have already starting cutting down my wants based on this info. There are still at least 4 90s I'd like. Eager to check them all out in person.

WTF did they do to beautiful Maharani?

OMG, the pink and orange! I want that!
Yodaling and weN84, thank you both soo much for your effort, it is very much appreciated!
And can somebody please teach me how to tag others in posts?
GAH!!! It’s gorgeous!

Wow! It's fabulous! Love the way the bright green pops against the neutral background.
Absolutely stunning! Wow! Thanks for posting. It’s a beauty.
Gah!! So gorgeous!!! Congrats, it looks utterly fabulous on you!
Thank you to @misspink001 for the intel!!! I was able to pick up this beauty- the one and only one so far that the boutique had.
Look at that gorgeous hem!!! The blues remind me of BE And BH.
@yodaling1 can you add this CW to our list?
I’m in love with this design and format. For sure I’m choosing to break my “no multiple CWs of a single scarf design” on SaP!!!

thank you, I just edited my post and it worked. I thought I already tried that before and it did not work, must habe been a spelling error.(yes- that's how it seems to go...)
@HoneyLocks - If you want to tag someone just add a @ in front of their handle (spelled just as it is written). It will highlight them.
12.5 % is too much if these 12.5 % won't show on (in off..ykwIm) the SA's payroll. Otherwise: nope. No. Not for me, thanks. We already had a huge price increase last year, I am not going to play the Chanelgame at Hermès, too. Really, no. nope.*
*that said, I most certainly will buy scarfs from them, albei I'll cut it down to 2 I need to have in my life. The other ones ... well I'll be sorry about that but 12.5 % is simply too much, given the fact that they startet new factory plants, going into mass production for scarfs. Nope. No. Njet. Nein. Nö. Nix.
That's more than € 1.046-- for a CSGM , greedy and shameless IMO.
OMG, this is so bad (shocking yellow next to teal?) I actually love it: psychedelic, Austin Powers, acid, trippy.
And it seems to tie really nice. But I am unsure if I like it 1K€...
I put so much hope in Sieste in GM, so far this seems to be the best CW, the others just do nothing for me. Good form my wallet, but I wear the big ones the most.
Thank you so much for posting this with tags!
Ouch. I got my first scarf in April 2016 and it was £280. In January 2019 going by the posts above they will cost £370 - almost one hundred pounds more!!! I think I will be leaving the stores behind for the billionaires who won't feel the hit and increase my collection of vintages. This is daylight robbery. That's more than € 1.046-- for a CSGM , greedy and shameless IMO.
Hi all - unfortunately there are no new scarves at my local boutique yet.![]()
12.5% ? [emoji33][emoji33][emoji33] Last year’s increase was already huge. That’s over £40 for a 90! If that’s the case, you’ll definitely see much less of me here...
Threads that are close to the surface so they easily snag are called "floats." Damask, jacquards, etc. All the really pretty stuff//I have one of those and don't know if I would buy another one.
What I don't like is that the sparkly threads are closer to the surface and can be easily snagged. Once they snag they sort of stick out and there is not much you can do about it. The fabric doesn't drape in a normal way, either -- it's more stiff. It looks cool though.
I have handwashed it and ironed on low setting just fine though.
It is fun to look for vintage/secondhand scarves - there are many online and the authentication provided here is wonderful. So is all the collective wisdom of the participants like you. I read somewhere that many years ago, Hermes scarves were for sale on some airline flights to and from Europe for 100 pounds and popular as a souvenir. Can you imagine that price now?!
