First of all, thank you all so much for your kind posts and messages. Reading all of them made me cry, in the best way possible, healing way. I didn’t realize just how much I needed acknowledgement and sympathy over what I had been going through. And even if it’s in a very public forum like this, there’s a level of anonymity that enables true honesty that isnt possible for me on other social media platforms. I am so deeply grateful and touched by all of you that read and responded. Thank you.

I posted a little on the FW thread about my visit to H yesterday. I tried on the two Siestes again along with the blue to compare. I really want one but just can’t seem to settle on a cw. To those of you who said the bright yellow, I think you’re right. I’ve always shied away from yellow and it’s caused me grail-aches, you know, where you COULD’VE bought that scarf in the store but for some tiny, later-inconsequential reason (“but it has a yellow hem” is my constant refrain), you passed on it only to find that months, sometimes years later you covet that scarf and search incessantly for it on the secondary market? That was Hippopolis and Terre Precieuse for me. But I’m still unsure on this Sieste. I feel like the scarf is always prettier on the other side of inventory. So I’ll mull it over... Can anyone point me to the page that has all of the cws? I tried looking for it but got so lost.

The pictures up top (because I don’t know how to move them) are of the yellow cw of Sieste with the orange hem, plus the blue one that made it back in stock. I think the first one is more versatile for me even though I am slain by the beauty of the blue. Also, my store finally got one of the pink Pivoines in. It’s pretty but my heart didn’t leap at it so it stayed in the boutique. I couldn’t decide if I wanted Sweet Dreams or Animapolis. They said super bright cw of Sweet Dreams was no longer available, but I don’t think they really checked. So I left with Animapolis 01, my first belated purchase of the season.

Oh, I have some old pics of Sweet Dreams. Do you think I should try to pursue it? I confess to balking a bit at paying so much for a primarily wool scarf. Somehow, paying hundreds for a silk scarf is easier to swallow. But this design is so amazing. And I think it would go with my hair no matter what crazy color I choose in the future, lol.

That colorway of Sweet Dreams is AMAZING on you! And quite a departure color-wise from what I can recall of your collection. I say go for it

I know it's June, but I hadn't yet purchased a SS19 scarf, so earlier this week I finally gave my SA a list of the scarves I was interested in. I went in today to talk with him about it, and don't you know, all of the designs I'd been waiting to see that hadn't been showing up in my store were finally there! However, while I did come home with a couple things, I ended up quite disappointed. My favorite design from this season, l'Esprit de la Foret, is a bust for me. None of the cws look right. I know that sounds crazy, but I tried on 4 today alone and none of them popped. The other scarf I was looking for, les Pivoines, was also finally there in the cw I thought I wanted, that bronzy/champagny gold cw. Unfortunately, it looked awful on me. And last but not least, they finally had Paisley CSGMs! There were 3 cws, and two of those did look good, but I decided to wait on that one. In the long run, this visit was easier on my wallet than I had anticipated, but I'm still a little disappointed that I didn't come home with a l'Esprit or Pivoines. I remind myself that there will be others, though, and certainly AW19 is looking promising.

I totally agree on all points! Yellow isn’t an easy colour to wear, but the great thing about this scarf is that the juxtaposition of other colours sort of takes the curse off the yellow, so you can enjoy it as an accent without having it take over...and the colours in Sweet Dreams are perfect on you, And it is so fun and charming!

My favorite of these scarves on you is the sweet dreams in that bright CW. I think the price point is fair( for H). I did find it more scratchy than the cashmere/silk- if the texture doesn’t bother you, go for it!
I also like the Act3 in the LaniT colorway on you ( from FW19).

That is the loveliest colorway...I have two of these, the deep blue, and the bright violet, magenta pink and yellow one, but every time I have seen this, I find it so cool and refreshing looking, a completely elegant look.

@weibandy , I was a bit hesitant with this format since I have a Lalbhai GM in silk twill that I find a bit tricky to wear. The Plume fabric seems easier to manage.

So glad you were able to get Animapolis 01, we are twins! It will really suit you. See my link here to @Pautinka 's post from February with most of the CW's of Sieste. Like you, I thought for sure I would want either Pautinka's CW with the pink, green and blue or the blue and red CW. In the end I chose the first one you are modeling and considering, with the yellow. I have to say I am so happy with my choice, it is not my usual CW but something about it just seems to work. And go figure, that yellow I was trying to avoid led me to purchase a Kelly double tour in lime which matches the yellow in this and many of my other scarves, including Animalpolis 01, perfectly. Just sayin'

Hello! I don't post at all, but the H scarf thread is my favorite to lurk around in. It is very helpful in seeing different scarf designs and colorways. Of course, the scarf tying ideas are also inspiring!
Before the Spring/Summer 19 scarves fade away from the stores, I finally got myself the Les Nouveaux Amoureux de Paris. I'm still playing with how to tie it. Thank you for letting me share.

Like you, I thought for sure I would want either Pautinka's CW with the pink, green and blue or the blue and red CW. In the end I chose the first one you are modeling and considering, with the yellow. I have to say I am so happy with my choice, it is not my usual CW but something about it just seems to work. Now I can see that there isn’t another cw that would be enters I mean I was a little curious about 05, the soft pink one but I know it wouldnt suit me as well as the one you have with the bright yellow and the orange hem! And really, I love Pautinka’s cw but my 90 is the fuchsia so that’s just too redundant. Thank you again!

I'm actually not 100% sure they're all spring, but: the Ex Libris cashmere bandana in navy, Lettres et Pois maxi twilly cut in grey/green cw, and Une Rose Pour Alma in the blue cw. Although technically I'm still waiting for them since they had to be charge sent.

PS - I agree the Sweet Dreams looks great on you!!

These look amazing on you! I am thrilled to be your cw 01 Animopolis Twin! That one is so much fun. You will smile every time you look at it and wear it! I have to say that you look incredible in Sweet Dreams and in the Sieste with orange hem. I swooned out loud over these pictures. You may "need" to get both of these to add to your collection. Truly, you look spectacular!

I don't own this Pierre Marie because I got side tracked with other Hermes purchases and had to say no to this one, but it sure is a fantastic scarf. Two of my friends bought this, so I will have to admire theirs. Congratulations!

Ok, just to clarify so as not to confuse anyone, none of these are Spring 2019! Guess Fall 2018 was a good one for me though lol, since that's where they all come from (and aren't the only ones from that season that I've purchased).

Thank you Ladybaga! I am so humbled by your comment! I love Paris, and the scarf reminds me of my last trip with DH in 2016. And red is my favorite color, and this is my first red H scarf! Somehow, I am drawn to Pierre Marie's design. I have the House of Scarf design from a few years ago.
