...'it looks like figures and animals have escaped their stories and fairytales and are running through the city/real life to the horror of some and (sic) delight of others...' Oh, how I love that description! Everytime I tell myself the scarf is too busy for me I fall in love with the reptiles/random coffee pots all over again.
It appears a couple of CSGMs for spring have already landed on 1stdibs. "Zouaves et Dragons" below.
Unsure of authenticity, but I recall Mythiques Phoenix Coloriage CSGMs hit 1stdibs very early last time too.

I can’t see the scarf well enough to purse my theory that - with two streets bisecting the design into four sections - maybe we have four cities/countries represented in Animopolis?
Wow, Z & D is an interesting design, nice balance of busy/empty space and color blocks. And detailed ropes/tassels, nice! Is is a new design or a re-issue?
It's a new design but it utilizes a classic theme of several scarves from past seasons - Napoleonic uniform and accoutrements. I think your description is very apt. I'm not struck on this colourway but the result does look lovely when worn.
These are not my colors either. Curious to see what other CWs will be offered.
