@bunnycat The multicolour is absolutely stunning and if you like colour, you’ll love it. It reminds me of the colours in Animapolis (without actually doing a direct comparison, so this is just my general feeling).

Think of the scarf as a lighter 140 as half the weight isn’t there?

Will definitely do some mod shots later this week! You’re very brave to purchase online without trying scarves on in person!

I think we all agree I am not afraid of color. I don't order without seeing mods shots often, but occasionally I get it right the first try....let's hope this is one of those times! Bonus is since it is an online purchase, I can easily return it if I am wrong....

That's also good info to have about the drape and feel. It sounds lovely! Post some mod shots of the colors you saw if you get a chance! It all helps!

Which CW did you choose? I was in my boutique the other day and tried some of the Kachinas CW’s on - in retrospect, I should have taken some photos. I like bright colours so the jaune vif/fuschia/multicolore was my favourite.

The format of the scarf itself is lovely, it drapes in a lovely way and I think looks more modern when worn simply, maybe due to less volume. IMO, the silk itself feels a bit more velvetier than a regular scarf, in between silk and silk wash.

I’ll be popping past the boutique again at the end of the upcoming week, so can take some mod shots if needed!
Please do! They are so helpful.

There was one (!) at the München Flughafen Last week...
(DH snatched it!) but as you know, airport shops are stalked totally different than the H boutiques....
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo:(

I am living 4 km away from Flughafen München:(( I could have walked there:( Perhaps I should start driving the airport crazy, too?

I was drawn to a few different CW's from the online pics. I love the blue and purple one (but don't like the white border and so decided against that one). I was first drawn to the burgundy/black/beige one, then realized while it looked great on the model as a top that all that white and beige would be right next to my face and then I'm back to the same problem as the blue/purple one. So in the end I ordered the multicolor one you liked. I hope I like it too!

Any mod shots you can supply would probably be greatly appreciated here!
The multicolor one is also my first choice. I am debating this one and rouge/bleu/jaune one. Wish to see more modeling pictures here!

Well, the shop is behind the security and passport controls :-( but its always good to check them out if I have the chance since they operate separately from the H operated boutiques...

There have been some comments about how A L’Ombre des Pivoines ties. Personally, I really like the design and am happy with how I wear it with my casual clothes.

I have just spent the weekend writing a scarf profile post on my blog - I call these my Scarf of the Moment posts! There are some examples of scarf knots on the post and I think that I also put some on this thread back in December, when I bought my colourway.

Anyway, here is the link and also the image of the scarf knots:

Pivoines is so pretty in your colorway with the medium blue background. Thank you for showing me some ways to wear mine in pink!

So do I! Can't wait for your pics!!!

@textilegirl oooo can't wait to see this I hope the colors are wonderful!

Wow, that was fast! Answers to some usual scarfie questions -- the back is saturated; the entire hem is rolled (this cw does not have a contrasting hem); the scarf came in a shawl box; and it's the plume silk usually offered in the spring season as opposed to the heavier weight twill of say, H en Fil from the Fall.

My preliminary assessment is that the format is wonderful! Because there's only half a shawl to deal with it's quite lightweight, a great option when you want a lot of silk but not a lot of weight. It would be lovely simply draped over something sleeveless or short-sleeved in warmer weather when you want the sheen of silk rather than mousseline but a full shawl could be too hot. I'm not sure it's substantial enough to keep you warm in a chilly office.

I'm still assessing this cw for me; unlike some, I rather like H's oddball colorations and this is one I think. The green reads as out-of-left field from the softer grey and mauve (not sure I'd call the lavender-y color mauve, but whatever). I'd ordered a different design and cw but the order was cancelled; I may try again....
