I hate wrinkles too. Silk fibers can kink permanently (which is how the plisses work). It may seem
sacrilegious to many scarfies, but I blast my scarves with a shot of steam and use a wooden clapper to press out any creases.

The two things to be careful of are: (1) water spray and (2) making sure it's clean so that you don't set any stains. I use a silk organza press cloth to alleviate the former. I think that the pressing is better for the scarves than the potential damage causes by permanent creases.

It makes sense to press as soon as the scarf is removed so that creases don’t stay permanently. I will try this. Thank you!

I do that with many silks too — I will give them an iron or a steam between wears. I don’t think the wrinkled will set in if you do that, although it is a bit of a hassle. Granted I don't do a lot of intricate knotting. The other factor is since I work at home and put them on when I'm going out to look a tad more put together, the scarf isn't being worn all day long either, so maybe that is why the overnight hanging works for me. This is a wonderful idea... I will definitely try this method as well as trying to press and/or steam before putting the scarf away so that the wrinkles don’t set in. I don’t have a problem with this issue with my silk twills. The only problem with stubborn wrinkles I’ve encountered has been with the new carré wash scarves. Thank you for the suggestion!

Well, this past weekend I checked and my H store didn’t have anything yet from the new season that I’m interested in but I was able to very unexpectedly find a favorite CW of Robe de Soir from SS2018 and got it. This was my first purchase of 2019 (I got the Animapolis last year)... And then late last night, I purchased this from h.com... all before the price increases that are looming. Can’t wait for it to arrive! Thank you so much to @hannahsophia and to all who posted pics of Equateur... I hope it’ll be a keeper

How funny! I bought the exact same scarf last night. The mod shots on this thread were so compelling. The variations of blue are sublime and the price increase gave me the motivation to make it happen right away. (So we'll soon be double twins on the RdS and Equateur)

Thanks for sharing! What an interesting CW. My store had these two CWs out, so I thought I would share in case someone wants a reference. Both beautiful, but I was there to pick my Carre wash, so didn’t get either.IMG_1784.JPG

I am so glad you are sharing this fact about the Carre wash scarves, I will pay extra attention to mine. Don’t particularly enjoy the high maintenance aspect, but at least it feels very soft and cozy.

OOh - thanks for the heads up QueenieQ - admiring the sophisticated silver greys in this colourway - this is my favourite new design in the 90cm silks this season and I can't wait to see these in person.

Thanks for noting. A scarf that is available on their own website doesn’t equal an unreleased design however.
