Thank you for sharing Jan's IG post. I'm always interested in the H scarf artist’s thoughts, other works, and, of course, their original colours for a specific scarf design (lacking info on that - like Ugo's Grand Prix - then the artist’s favourite cw done by the H team). These draw me closer to the scarf.

Just checked Jan Bajtlik’s Instagram post and the CW that he chose/posted of Animapolis is CW1: the one that I and many of us here chose as well.

So apparently cw 01 is the one closest to the original drawing. I asked on Jan Bajtlik’s IG post, and he replied right away! I was so surprised - what a gentleman!

I'm quite disappointed, + 20€ for the carré wash is a big step.

Yes 20 Euros more is rather a lot, normal 90's are 10 Euros more and CSGM's 15 Euros.

I ordered 2 CWs of L'Esprit de la Foret, CW 7 and CW5. I like Alice Shirley's art, the forest down below in between the wings reminds me of Jardin Anglais (none of the CWs appealed to me so I never got one). I like the "claire de la lune" color combination (CW5), this is the pattern that sings to me most.
But I am still not sure if I like how it ties: huge blobs of color next to intricate leaves. the feeling of flying high above the forest gets lost when tied (but I still know about it, it has the feeling of freedom).
On the other side it is a real chameleon scarf, depending on how it is knotted many different looks can be achieved.
Also the back side is almost as saturated as the front side.

View attachment 4292874 I am on the hunt for another cw of Animapolis! I usually limit myself to one but this scarf is too wonderful. I found all ten colorways on the site for Canada, thought it might help for some.

So adorable! I loved reading the story on Instagram! I sent the artist a private message asking him permission to use the pic in my upcoming post (probably for this weekend) about Ajimapokis... And Kluska is wearing my CW! Jan Bajtlik is so gracious and kind! What is your Instagram handle so that I can follow you?

Yes!! CW1 is the closest to his original drawing and the one he’s been posting about. Today he posted about Jane Birkin holding the scarf and her choice was also CW1. That was definitely my first choice as well... although it’s such a great design that you really can’t go wrong with any of them. I’m contemplating adding another CW and trying to choose between CW2 and CW8...
I also sent a private message to Jan Bajtlik asking him permission to use the picture he posted of Kluska wearing the scarf because I’m getting ready to post about Animapolis soon and would like to include the photo. (I post regularly about my Hermès scarves with extensive background and history on Instagram.) He was so gracious and kind, and mentioned that soon he will post about where to find his self-portrait on the scarf and about the various buildings and his inspirations. So cool! So far I’ve bought cw2; I was choosing between cw1 and 2, and somehow the SA convinced me the red/blue cw2 would be more “winter appropriate” and easier to wear
It IS gorgeous, and I’ve already worn it several times, but cw1 is still very tempting. Good thing the season has barely begun.
Hopefully cw 9 will appear online soon - it looks quite promising (as does 5 and 8!).
I already follow you and IG and always enjoy the knowledge and passion you pour into your posts!
