Thanks for replying .think I try walking in and try my luck. Im usually a black bag person, but Etoupe ghw on picotin looks so nice. I haven got a chance to see P18 in real thou.

I think it would be good if you can make an appointment prior to heading down. cause 1) it may be crowded and you'll end up waiting outside till they have a SA to assist. 2) if they assigned an SA to you, you get to have that SA to yourself for at least 30 mins or more. No need to rush through your shopping.

I used to be a brown/black person too! then now, I'm so in love with colors more than neutral lol. esp when hermes does their colours so well! so vibrantly and well. some of their colours is like a chameleon, always changing in different lighting. GHW is pretty!

Hello all, i just joined the forum for this thread and it’s super helpful reading up random bits of knowledge I didn’t know before.
On my last visit I spoke to a really nice SA but she left. I’m looking for a new SA, so apart from seeing if the SA clicks with you, what else do you look out for? Any advice is appreciated!

I read up quite a bit from this forum before starting my journey late last year too!

Before I decided to stay with my current SA, I shopped around to see which SA will be most helpful to both my husband and I, and which SA will appreciate me as a customer. It works both ways so I didn’t see a point if I were to force a SA to work with me if she didn’t want me as her customer haha. If she’s willing to keep in contact with you exchanging numbers, knowing you’ll be a long term customer and also appreciates that brand, it’s a good sign to build the relationship from there.

Attitude when attending to us, willingness to check stocks, and how she sends us off when I’ve made payment - all these are tell tale signs if I will wanna stay with the SA.

I’ve enjoyed my visits so far and makes me keep wanting to go back for more! The SA really makes a great difference :)

HTHs! Enjoy your H journey!

Had done a Cape cod watch customisation yesterday. Really fun to do. ETA in Oct to arrive. Also got a PM Evelyn in Vert Cypress with GHW

There are 2 Lindy 30 in stock yesterday if anyone is interested.

I have also joined the watch customization last week! Really excited to see my watch in person and how it will look on my wrist. First time ordering a watch based on based on my imagination and the photo on the tablet..

I believe with most bags, it is quite difficult to walk in and get the specs you desire. Probably best to let SA know your wishlist and keep checking back. That said, I have yet to successfully get any bags myself. Good luck to you for that bag
Thank you so much. Will try to make a trip down to see how things go.

I know of a friend who walked into the store without purchase history and bought a Picotin end 2020, I don't know the specs though.
Thank you so much. :)

First time here. Is it difficult to get a picotin 22 ghw black from the boutique?

It’s not. The second time I went into store looking for twillies and later casually asked for picotin 18, the SA assigned to me showed me both picotin18 and 22 in ghw.

If one store doesn’t offer you, try going back a different time to a different SA or different store if you dont have a SA yet

Thanks for sharing. These are really good points for when you’re looking for an SA! It really makes all the difference when you find a good one.

To add on, I shared a story about my current SA a few days ago. How she dismissively told me to buy online this dress I was looking for. At this point, I was like ahh ok she is not the SA for me. (At this point I had shopped at MBS a few times over a number of years each time served by a different SA) but I still wanted to get a couple of things anyway since I knew my spend profile was attached to the store and not the SA. She was really good with recommending some dresses and was more than happy to help me style, showing me how the Kelly belt works (even tho I hadn’t asked for it). So when it came time to settle the bill she asked if I had a profile and she saw my past purchases. She then told me to continue accumulating my spend slowly and I would be able to get a B/K. (She also confirmed spend has to be 1:1 at least) we exchanged numbers and since then I have been shopping with her. She has been so amazing and I always leave the store super happy and excited.

so sometimes if the SA is initially dismissive and not very helpful, it doesn’t mean that’s how they really are. I did end up receiving all the good signs @Butterflious mentioned above…

From the 2nd meeting on, I had already let SA know that I would like a quota bag at some point this year, big 40  but also equally keen to get non-quota bags (bolide, lindy, roulis). So far, I did get an offer for C but it was not in the colorway I would easily adopt so I had to decline.
I think she just meant to buy only what I really want. I feel you! There’s so many things I want to buy too and I would’ve spent so much money if I could. Haha I always come out of the store with more things added to my personal wish list. I don’t think it would hurt your profile at all.

ooh I hope you will get your dream bag for your milestone birthday! What a wonderful way to go into your big 4-0.

that’s great that you’ve already gotten a quota bag offer… a positive sign! Was it awkward when you declined?

My SA is like that too, she wont push me products to buy just to hit her target and she looks satisfied whenever things I love arrive!
Hope you get your dream bag for your wonderful bday soon :)

Hi guys, been getting into Hermes lately and starting to enjoy some of the stuff. Any advice? I don't really have an SA and I just want to get a few items to start out that I like, oran sandals, the belt etc. But they are always out of stock at the store and the SAs I get just ask me to get it online. Is it worth shopping at the stores in person? I see most of the stuff I want are in-stock online and I don't have to deal with bad service. But I feel that the best thing about luxury is the in-store experience. Thoughts?

I Pforpay,

I also had same experience as you. The SA always asked me to go online. However, I managed to get 1 SA who is so nice after I bought a small leather good from her. Now, I'm so happy with her because whatever I like or see on H websites in the US, UK, EU,... I take photos and send it to her. She will let me know once she has stocks.
