I don’t live in Singapore and also do not travel there often. My most recent trip to Singapore (3rd time visiting the country) I was lucky enough to score a C24 that was on display without any prior purchase history. This was at the H boutique closest my hotel (Four Seasons). I was very surprised myself when the SA said I could buy it as most H stores I have been to would have said display only, including my home store. She also told me the bag was just put on display shortly before I arrived.

The day before I scored the Constance, I visited another H boutique nearby and the SA there subtly suggested that a 1:1 purchase would increase my chance of scoring B/K/C which reflects most comments here though..

I still have no idea whether it was just pure luck or H stores do have some sort of system where they are able to sell quote bags to non-VIP/regular if they are on display?

Actually I’ve seen 3 exotic Constances on display over the past 6 months and was offered them without fulfilling quota. I suppose they sell those less popular colour/leather combos without need for quota to clear stock. But it’s a blessing to those who are not so particular about the specs or the bag just happens to be the specs they like. Congrats on your purchase! Sadly I’m extremely particular about my bag specs so will have to continue playing the quota game:(

Just want to update. Avoid reseller finklepuff at all cost. She will be nice to you in the beginning and start being rude to you saying you are wasting her time once you ask her questions (and these are totally valid questions that I ask to other sellers too which other sellers are happy to provide answers to).

Just check her pricing. She is selling bags at a more expensive price point than the same bags at other resellers whilst her caption is “cheapest in the world” of that sort. AND most importantly the bags on her instagram are not hers nor she has seen most of them physically whilst promoting the bag to have excellent condition (this was exactly the case for bag which I enquired). I would be worried not just about the authenticity but also the actual condition of the bags she sell if she hasn’t even seen them

I would suggest to go with reseller with physical stores like ruelamode, shopfirstluxury, lux lexicon which all seem much more legitimate and established + have professional manner

Ditto. A friend and I both had bad experiences with her. Dishonest and ultra defensive to say the least.

Luxlexicon is snotty but efficient so depends on how desperate u r to offload/buy a bag.

Trove is friendly and sincere with reasonable prices.

Thanks for previous posters sharing abt their experiences with RLM and bagzaar will try them out in the future.

Sorry accidentally hit reply earlier without typing anything fat fingers haha. Do you mind to share is kelly pochette now easier to get offered as long as we are not fussy about color or hardware?

@Daosabao i think you can let your SA knows that you are interested in a KP. If they have anything they will offer it to you provided you have reached the quota. From what I understand, however, it seems like that they don't order KP as many as B/K so if they don't have it in stock and you have a specific color combo that you want, the SM will place a PO and you will get your KP a few months after the order has been placed.

Thanks for your reply! Will try ask and see if there's any chance. I've gotten some quota bags over the years, so thinking of going for a KP. But they are not easy to come by from what I've read about on forums (though available at resellers lol). You're really lucky you were offered one but in any case I hope you get or have gotten your dream bag. Btw I think the kelly cut is absolutely gorgeous too.

For Lux, I think I dealt with what I think was the owner previously and she was snooty snotty well, not nice IMO. But after the physical store was opened I went there one day with friends and we were there just to browse and I must say the service staff there are nice and friendly even though we did not buy anything. YAS was nice when I visited them too, not pushy at all. Anyway they are also businesses wanting to sell things (just like Hermes Sas) so their 'niceness' have to be balanced by our expectations also, if that makes sense.

I bought a kelly bag recently from trove and I have nothing but nice things to say to the SA there (Dawn). I asked to reserve a bag for a few days since I’m coming from the PH and she did. Good prices and bags are in excellent condition for the price. Had it authenticated by bababebi right away.

I also bought a b35 from luxlexicon and YAS. The SAs are great and not pushy at all.

On the topic of resellers I’d like to recommend Bjluxury. I had made an appointment to view a GP (which I did end up getting) and while I was at her shop I said I was trying to decide between a K25 or 28 for my next bag and she offered to let me try them on so I can see which size works better. Very personable and knowledgeable and not pushy. I felt that service at Luxlexicon while professional was a bit more cold and intimidating.

Separately I also decided to start building a profile at Hermes and I have to say that my first experience at the store started out a bit intimidating but I met a nice SA and we started chatting and he was v forthcoming about quotas etc

May i check if anyone deal with reseller ciaciasg before?

I have dealt with ciacia (tricia) before... she's fine!

Seldom post here but I have interacted with many resellers before; flo from Lux is my favorite and my go to reseller. She may seem cold on your first encounter but once you get to know her better she's a charm

Ohh.. thanks for replying.... looking to get a K from reseller. So thought of asking if anyone deal with her before..

I’m also tired of the 1:1 rule, so even though I’ll continue to buy things that I love at my home store, I’m going to start to shop at resellers as well. I went to Luxlexicon’s showroom today and it’s a stunning store. Great lighting as well. Lots of stock of k and b. Super impressive. They didn’t have the exact bag I was looking for but I’ll definitely check back with them. Service was fine, they were nice and let me look at the bags that caught my eye.

Yeah. I agree with you totally! But I think SA makes a lot of difference too!
