Does buying a lindy and other non quota bags count towards the history for a quota bag? How much is an epsom k25 and b30 say in togo in Singapore? Ts.
I believe no bag counts towards your spending history for a quota bag, no matter what style and it seems even SLGs and silks no longer count. We need someone to confirm this for you. I cannot help with the local prices but the 2019 general pricing thread will give you a rough estimate.

Thks, i checked with them today. Met a nice SA, and requested for a lindy. Bags dont count towards the profile for a quota bag but silks, belts etc do. Kelly 25 retourne is abt $13k and sellier abt $15k.

dear all, I have just begun my Hermes journey. Can anyone advise if it is easy to buy a lindy or constance from NAC or Liat without any purchase history?
I don’t live in Singapore and also do not travel there often. My most recent trip to Singapore (3rd time visiting the country) I was lucky enough to score a C24 that was on display without any prior purchase history. This was at the H boutique closest my hotel (Four Seasons). I was very surprised myself when the SA said I could buy it as most H stores I have been to would have said display only, including my home store. She also told me the bag was just put on display shortly before I arrived.

The day before I scored the Constance, I visited another H boutique nearby and the SA there subtly suggested that a 1:1 purchase would increase my chance of scoring B/K/C which reflects most comments here though..

I still have no idea whether it was just pure luck or H stores do have some sort of system where they are able to sell quote bags to non-VIP/regular if they are on display?

You're very lucky indeed
They rarely sell coveted items to walk in
They rather offer to regulars or VIP
This shows sales is very bad for that particular month they're far behind hitting the amount set by Paris
The only way fastest way is to sell highly desirable bags to make up those numbers

Wow. I started my slippery Hermes slope last year and have never seen a b/k/c on display. I was offered a Constance and Kelly only after I built up a buying history/relationship. Can I ask did you score the Constance recently?

Ahh this reason never crossed my mind but it does make a lot of sense! I visited just a few days before Christmas, thought that would actually a very good sales period?

I think your experience is really how it works at H for most, myself included, at my home store.
I do think I was just lucky to come across one that was available for purchase. That was back in December 2018 :)

As for resellers.. there are quite a few reputable ones with reasonable pricing.
But RueLamode is definitely the industry pioneer to a certain extend. They've been around for a long long time and even Jamie Chua buys her Exotics from them.
Not saying the rest are no good. Im sure they are but that's just my take on RLM that's all =)

Just want to update. Avoid reseller finklepuff at all cost. She will be nice to you in the beginning and start being rude to you saying you are wasting her time once you ask her questions (and these are totally valid questions that I ask to other sellers too which other sellers are happy to provide answers to).

Just check her pricing. She is selling bags at a more expensive price point than the same bags at other resellers whilst her caption is “cheapest in the world” of that sort. AND most importantly the bags on her instagram are not hers nor she has seen most of them physically whilst promoting the bag to have excellent condition (this was exactly the case for bag which I enquired). I would be worried not just about the authenticity but also the actual condition of the bags she sell if she hasn’t even seen them

I would suggest to go with reseller with physical stores like ruelamode, shopfirstluxury, lux lexicon which all seem much more legitimate and established + have professional manner

+1 for RLM
I've bought from them on several occasions and have consigned with them too. They're always professional, friendly and knowledgable.

Actually my SA did tell me, they did display one Constance during that period, and it was bought up straightaway! Lucky you! Hahaha

Oh hahaha very lucky indeed! All thanks to my hubby who dashed to the store first thing the morning of our last day in SG hoping to get something special for my birthday while I was busy at the hotel with our bubba

Thank you for the reply. I got my first quota bag on Xmas eve 2018. And I certainly did not have a 1:1 purchase history (as some of the items like clutches are not included when they calculate my ‘qualifying’ spend). The H fairies were certainly kind last dec!
