Just want to update. Avoid reseller finklepuff at all cost. She will be nice to you in the beginning and start being rude to you saying you are wasting her time once you ask her questions (and these are totally valid questions that I ask to other sellers too which other sellers are happy to provide answers to).

Just check her pricing. She is selling bags at a more expensive price point than the same bags at other resellers whilst her caption is “cheapest in the world” of that sort. AND most importantly the bags on her instagram are not hers nor she has seen most of them physically whilst promoting the bag to have excellent condition (this was exactly the case for bag which I enquired). I would be worried not just about the authenticity but also the actual condition of the bags she sell if she hasn’t even seen them

I would suggest to go with reseller with physical stores like ruelamode, shopfirstluxury, lux lexicon which all seem much more legitimate and established + have professional manner

Thanks for sharing. I haven’t approached this reseller but I have similar experience with one other. Obviously I brought my hard earned money elsewhere. have also seen public ranting posts on IG from resellers that berate people for asking too many questions or ‘dumb questions’. These impatient resellers assume everyone is knowledgeable with Hermès or have money to burn. We are paying good money and definitely have a right to ask valid questions.

I got a rouge pivione B25 with ghw. She actually had a red B25 (the latest color) but I still prefer the other red. The bag color looks different under different lighting. Wanted to get neutral but in the end still went for colors.

Congrats on the lovely bag! Both are such lovely pops of color! I too am fixated on neutrals but agree they can feel cold especially for grey. Rouge pivione is lovely.

I just saw another one in same colour posted up, how did they get so many in??? Is authenticity cert provided by RLM and reputable resellers ... there is always black sheep in the circle or something tat cld be missed even by the trained eyes and with such good fakes lurking around?

There’s always two sides of the story and here’s mine to reply to hopebirkin’s accusation.

She messaged and asked 2 bags (b30 black epsom phw and b30 orange epsom phw) which I sent her the detailed pictures immediately per her request. She proceeded asking for a discount since she said she’s interested and going to buy both, which I gladly offered a slight discount since it’s a multiple purchase. Then she proceeded asking if I have orange with gold hardware, to which I tried and found for her B30 orange togo ghw. She then said she wants epsom with ghw and I told her I don’t have at the moment.

Then she asked if her fiance can fly to singapore to pick up personally, I said yes as long as deposit is placed he can pick up anytime in singapore. Then she asked if she and her fiance don’t want the bag, can deposit be refunded which I told her deposit is non refundable (unless authenticity issue which won’t happen because every bag is personally inspected before handed to customers) and it takes us sellers time and effort to secure the bags from owners, inspected each bag and pass to our customers.

I told her she can consider purchasing from local US sellers if she worried and I cannot deal with fickle minded clients, that we should not waste each other time if she’s still unsure. I told her to check back on availability of the bags again once she’s sure and made up her mind because bags can get sold anytime.

Then she proceeded saying her fiance is skeptical and being difficult so she’s convincing him, to which I told her good luck. She said she wants to buy two (again), but it’s a family discussion and not up to her to decide, this is her first purchase and she wants to make sure it’s the right decision and investment for her.

The next day she asked again if I have the videos of both bags. And I told her I only have detailed pictures which I already sent to her and I can re-take as much pics and videos once her deposit is placed (if ever). And I never hear back from her again.

The whole conversation from start to end took place for 3 days.

Our company is a registered company and we operate online to save overhead costs and priced them really well. That could be why she approached me.

That person in your story isn’t me.
So I guess you have been rude to so many customers not just to me and that person.

hopebirkin,

Negativity aside, I'm always grateful for regular clients and new clients from all over the world who support and stood by finklepuff from time to time and I'm super blessed that I get to do what I love. Always exciting to post new bags everyday!

Give me a hello if you see anything you like, ladies!

I agree, Its extremely dodgy to market for items that were not even inspected in the first place. Integrity is truly questionable. We shouldn’t be spending our money on crap services, esp paying a premium. Spending money should be an experience we must enjoy.

Just to add another 2 cents. Physical reseller stores are better for me in terms of service attitude, assurance and I like seeing items in person. You can ask all the questions you want and even get to try things on. I’m also impressed when sales staff pass me gloves to put on first before I touch any bags, so I’m assured that no grubby paws handled the bags in store.

For online, I’m both nervous and scared to commit to part with twenty grand or more to someone I’ve never met. I tend to ask more questions, mull and deliberate should I or shouldn’t I. It doesn’t help that many times we haven’t even SEEN what we want to buy in real life as it’s next to impossible to ask to try on a birkin or kelly in the H store. My first Hermès bags from online resellers were bought not even knowing how they look like in reality (I don’t know what gave me the courage - perhaps a mixture of ignorance and desperation), resulting in expensive mistakes.

My sentiments too. I am interested in a few items and just dont dare to take the plunge yet even though they are from physical store. I needed to feel and compare abit before i am sure of what i want, colour, size, leather, since this cld be first and only H bag purchase...☺️. I wish the staff at some (popular) resellers boutique are more helpful; they give the distant look that you not going to buy and wasting their time. They dont volunteer info and answer briefly to qns. That makes me wonder why i shd be paying premium for something that is new or even preloved from them. May as well build profile or try luck overseas at least you get to keep the stuff or sell them phaps.

Yes avoid reseller that doesnt not have bag stock like jael99ig and finklepuff, most of their bag they get it from thai reseller, why not just get directly from them.... and they never see the bag. I’s recommend troyvesgd, ruelamode, eclaireatelier(new reseller in sg and malaysia with a physical store) and many more just avoid the ones who only does virtual inventory

yup yup yup at the end of the day to them they just care about sales

even with physical store i realise some of the staff dont even know what is the colour or name of the item... i doubt they could all be "expert authenticators"

Hi folks - veering away from the heated topic of resellers for a sec

Does anyone have any recommendation on where to have H shoes fixed? One of the links on my Tandem sandals tore (my bad ) and I’d like to get it repaired. (My SA is on ML otherwise I’d check with her.)

Hi all,

I am quite new to Hermes but has some purchase history.. Yesterday, I was browsing through the wallet section and was interested in their kelly wallet.
My SA told me if I get it she would be able to offer me a Kelly Pochette.

Do you think it's a good deal?
My consideration is just I will not be using it often enough. should I pass on the KP and wait for a K25/B25 instead? Although she mentioned that I will need to purchase quite a bit more for B/K

Sorry accidentally hit reply earlier without typing anything fat fingers haha. Do you mind to share is kelly pochette now easier to get offered as long as we are not fussy about color or hardware?
