Sorry TPFers, rant post warning:

Hermes staff can be terribly snobbish and ignorant. Ever since I started to make my purchases only in home store, I hardly patronise any other H stores.
Recently, I went into Liat Tower store to check out wallpaper as I needed some for renovation. I knew for a fact that these wallpapers sell in rolls. But there's nobody in home department for like half an hour where I waited, browsed and waited. In the end, I approached a random SA at scarf department regarding my enquiry. She gave me the snobbish attitude and claimed that wallpapers are sold in centimeters. She looked even more arrogant when I expressed my disbelief. I didn't correct her as that's not my job to do so. I walked away quietly with my very low profile bottega and very "high profile" Hello Kitty shopping tote my friend passed to me during lunch prior to my H visit.
I understand SAs judge customers and show atas attitude to elevate H status - yes, it's a maketing strategy. But, hello!!! At least know your stuff, can?

Terrible experience!!! >:(

Kind of difficult to get. My SA told me one bag (I suspect must be B/K/C) one rodeo and if I gotten one rodeo with a B/K, I cannot buy another within next couple of months. I had given up asking for it from my SA honestly. Only when I get the next K/B/C, then I’ll ask her. [emoji23] Maybe I’ll try asking the next time I see her.
This is new to me. I have rejected quite a few of rodeos in the past. I am offered without me asking, especially when there's nothing new in store for me to buy.

I have to agree on the snobbish attitude at Liat. I have long stop patronizing the store and is happily settled with Scotts Square. If you already have a regular SA at another store, you may get them to help you out even though the store do not stock home furnishing. I believe you will get better service this way.
