End up, I undo the twilling and left the shop feeling embarrassed with the way I was treated. I just want to know, can they twill for non-H bags like chanel, LV, YSL etc? This experience was such a turn off. Anyone know where I can send feedbacks?

I was told before that they were not allowed to tie on a non H bag when i tried to ask them to tie on my LV bag. I think that were actually courteous to help you to tie the twilly. Maybe the SA received orders from their superior? they were trying to help even though that you are not using a H bag. Nothing to be embarrassed about and dont take it to heart. Cheers.

I was told they weren't allowed to tie on non-H bags but my SA still assisted me and she did a good job for it. I guess it really depends on the SA themselves, like how it works in H, there are actually no hard and fast rules :amuse:

Last year or early this year during the Liat renovation, I was shopping in their temporary setup when an American lady came in. She was a walk in and didn't know anyone. She bought shoes and I think scarves and maybe some jewelry. Then she asked if they had a B or K. She was told that there were no B or K and they were very difficult to come by.

Shortly before her arrival though, both I and an Indonesian woman were both offered Bs, both of which were declined.

My SA noticed that I had overheard and we moved to the jewelry area and she said "we don't like to offer to tourists." Here is the interesting part---I am not Singaporean and I don't live in Singapore! I quickly pointed out that I too am a "tourist" and I had chatted with the Indonesian lady and she lived in Jakarta and was also a "tourist". My SA explained that although that is true, there are several clients from neighboring countries who are considered as "locals" because we are frequently in Singapore (about 4-5 times per year for me), and we have shopped from there for several years. Whether this was the truth or an effort to explain away the randomness of it all, I do not know.

It seems to me that at MBS they may also be more lenient because they have the casino and people who win big want to spend their earnings.

At the end of the day, I think H has some guidelines but everything is flexible depending on how much you spend or whether they like you. I feel like the only rule with H is that their rules are meant to be broken.

HI Agree with you, I just came back from Roma last 2 week and prior to my hoiday to Italy , I read from Hermes forum that is very difficult to get Hermes bag, not to mentioned K or B cos they only sell to local (Italian) cos I remember when I were in Florence 2 years ago, SA said no bags :( but I got Herbag at Capri).
When I reach Roma, I went to Spagna area for shopping thought am tired , I bought all items from my wish list and before I returned to hotel to rest,I went to Hermes and no need to q at all that day. I asked the handsome SA whether they have stock for Evelyn in PM size and after he talk with his superior or colleague, he said yes and asked what colour am I looking, my idea colour were black, gold or dark brown but none at all, said only have red , brick and lighter colour and he said will show me both brick and light grey , though I prefer darker colour cos I wore lots of jean and black so afraid colour transfer but I still get it cos is pretty difficult to get in Singapore and the price was amazing compare here. SA show me different way to carry on shoulder and shorten the strap by tying a twilly and I like it. I saw other guy bought mini Evelyne and I regret did not buy the mini too cos can't get in Singapore :(
I also bought a small clic clac and perfume in Roma airport.

I was offered mini E before in trench color in Liat? Just last month, but I turned it down as I don't prefer Evelyne
