Hi Pursenality,
I am looking at the 30cm or 35cm (is it too big?). I know there are alot of type of leather. Not the exotic skin for now. i am abit confused after reading about so many type of leather so for now I have only thought of the color that is orange, etoupe or gold (think for certain colors, only come in certain leather?). I am hoping to look for a leather that dont need me to baby too much but i don want it to be too stiff too. hope you can give me some advice.

schnauzie, if you're looking for leather that is hardy and not too stiff, Togo might be just what you're looking (Clemence is quite hardy too but in a 35 would be rather slouchy). And Togo comes in orange, etoupe and gold! The Kelly is available in sizes 15, 20, 25, 28, 32, 35, 40 and above (all in cms). There is no 30cm.

ETA : Personally I don't think a 35cm is big (especially if it's an inside stitch (rotourne) Kelly) but it also depends on your build and height and if you're comfortable with a larger bag.

ms piggy - so if i am looking at a 32 or 35cm togo kelly, what is the price range i am looking at? i also like the Clemence but consider it in the smaller 28 (will it be too slouchy also?).

I think you'd be looking at S$11,000 and above (for reference, a Kelly 32cm Togo was S$9,900 in 2007 and there has been since then 2 price increases).

In a 28cm, the slouch factor for Clemence would not come into play so much.

schnauzie...the current prices (from the last 2 weeks) in S'pore are as follows:
35cm Kelly Togo: Sg11,800
32cm Kelly Togo: Sg 11,500 (+/-)
32cm Kelly Chevre Mangalore: Sg12,XXX
28cm Kelly Togo: 1-200 lesser than a 32cm

In the past 2 weeks the available K-stock, to my knowledge, are as follows:

LIAT TOWERS
25cm K Sellier Box in Prune, PHW
25cm K Sellier Box in Raisin, PHW (superb bag!):drool:
32cm K Retourne Chevre Mangalore in Questche, PHW (gorgeous colour!)

TAKASHIMAYA
28cm K Togo / Chevre in Black, PHW (unsure of leather type, its either one)

The stores are often more generous with the Kellys than B's. ;)

schnauzie...Just reread your post re preferred colours of Gold, Etoupe, Orange (I love, love, love H-orange!). H-Takashimaya had a 35cm K in Gold Togo , PHW few weeks ago. Not sure if it is still there. Gold seems to be a colour of the current supply. Gold H-bags have been springing up in many stores. It is a classic colour.

thanks for the inventory update!! you are a real darling! Personally i thought the etoupe and hermes oranges are droolworthy colours but i saw some of the forumer's kelly/birkin is gold and it looks so classic! Not a fan of the k sellier box...found it abit too structured.

I assume that the waitlist in spore is closed? So does that mean tt if i wanna score a birkin i will most likely have to fly to paris? if i am looking for a 35 togo birkin, what is the price like?

btw, no sightings of kelly in GHW?
