Things have changed quite a bit at Liat under the current SM and also post-Covid. As my SA left a while back and I relocated out of the country, I no longer shop there personally but my friends who remain clients keep me updated with specific details. Newer clients definitely have it a lot harder and there is no comparison to having a long relationship at the store.

If it helps, I got etoupe b25 as the 1st qb
Thanks everyone for their responses~ It seems like etoupe is easier to get as 1st qb compared to gold and I wonder why. May I know how much did you prespend and if you continued spending while waiting for a bag? My SA said continued spending might give me a better colour. Isn’t that implying that the actual prespend amount needed is higher if I want popular colours. Actually I’m more keen on gris tourterelle as compared to etoupe. Does anyone know if gris T is still being offered nowadays and if the wait is long for this specific colour request?

Hi 880, in Singapore we will say ‘don’t spoil market!’
I personally think 26k is borderline high for b/k in size 25, but not excessive. I would say it’s pretty reasonable, especially if the colour and style is a popular one
Bravo. Don’t spoil the market. That’s it!

I have been posting like a broken recorder not to keep on pre spending to get ahead the line to get a quota bag in stores. It doesn’t make a dent. So, there is really no point to spoil the market. Only detrimental to customers ourselves.

Sorry I didn’t keep track of my prespend but I think it could be around 26k? It’s true, my SA told me if I only want neutral colours, the prespend is much more as compared to the seasonal ones. I continued to spend on my family member’s account while waiting for my qb on my account.

My SA told me upfront that certain popular colours I’m interested in for future bags will require higher spend, and the wait may also be longer. I don’t know how much more as I just collected my QB recently and we’ve not discussed future bags in more detail yet.

Hmmm, I don’t keep exact tabs on my prespend, but it was probably around 23 or 24k-ish. I happened to hit my prespend during launch of new season’s items and there were many items I really liked, so I might have overshot by a bit, I’m not really sure. I did hold back on getting some items, but continued to buy seasonal items while waiting, not because I thought it would help me get my bag earlier, but because they were items I really wanted and I was ok for them not to count towards my next qb. I also turned down a few bags while waiting as I chose to wait for my requested specs.

I like Gris T too, but it is currently only available for SO.

I know my ex-SA put me up for 1st QB approval (K25 retourne)when my profile while just over 1:1 excluding a P22 I had purchased; I have spent a little more since then but was advised by her replacement to chill and restart after I’ve collected it.

Hi all, would anyone happen to know how long homeware (e.g., cups, plates) takes to arrive these days? Also, does all homeware have to be pre-ordered, or is this only for more in-demand pieces? TIA
The last time l asked early this year, they stopped taking orders for homeware. I’m not sure if they resumed taking orders. I bought a few homeware prior to that, it’s more like bits and bobs of what they have available (can’t help myself). I think you can ask your sa to check if the item you want is available, in demand or not

I ordered 4 cups and 1 sushi plate from the mosaic series in aug last year and was told the wait would be a year. Til today they aren’t ready for collection yet.

To me, the ones who spoil market are the ones who buy just to hit quota and turn around to sell the items. I feel these people are the ones who drive up the prices e.g FJs at boutiques. And they have no appreciation of the brand and its products - the only aim to get a quota bag.

It no longer makes sense to me to buy these non leather items from boutiques since they are so much cheaper at resale stores.

Just my thoughts.

Yes, I feel the same too. Seeing those just buying anything and everything to hit the amount fast and turning to reseller to offload these things. It’s frustrating to see these people also getting their bags and offloading them to resellers so quickly while I wait and wait for my bag despite being a true Hermes lover.
