Is it me or is getting an appointment with my SA really difficult nowadays?
I’m not sure. These days I just walk in to browse since no queueing is required and if my SA is there & available then I’ll make a purchase if there’s something I like. Otherwise I’d just browse and leave.

I feel like appointments these days work best if you’re specifically getting something which you’ve wishlisted with your SA prior, or want to have a good session with him/her, otherwise if it’s just for random browsing then walking-in is sufficient but that’s just me.

I didn't know you can do that. Buying things without an appointment. Cos usually when I walk in to browse, my SA is engaged with another client. I don't feel good to disturb her/him.

Any views anyone on whether this is worth getting or should just get the normal Epsom leather without extra strap?
It really depends on what you like. Personally, I think the canvas straps look better on more “casual-style” bags (like the evelyn, mini bolide, etc.) rather than the KTG. But the KTG in general is not the easiest SLG to get, so if the color/hardware/leather I want is available in the cavale version I might just get it anyway! Haha

Maybe I’ve just been lucky then? It’s happened a few times for me. If she’s engaged we’ll still say hi and see if she has a free slot after that which works for me but otherwise I don’t bother too much. She does know that I will usually try to only buy from her when I visit that store.

Thanks for sharing! I read on xhs that cavale is slightly bigger too so I went to Hermes website to research. Seems like cavale only comes in evercolour and evergrain version.

Also added Constance to go as comparison.

Hi, any recommendations where to dry clean RTW? Cashmere/silks.
If you are near Holland Bukit Timah area, I strongly recommend Bloomington Green Laundry at Holland Drive. I’ve been sending them my H RTW, Cashmere and Silks and found them really good and affordable.

I’ve ever tried someone else and sent just a twilly to a shop located below The Sail to test them out before sending higher priced items. They returned it to me with a stapler stamped onto my twilly (it caused a hole) and they also removed the H label from my twilly. :cursing::mad:

So I vowed to use only Bloomington from then on.

May I check if u ever sent rtw with leather details or trimmings to Bloomington?

I feel some of these rtw with leather details are very nice but not easy to care for and up keep. So, I have yet to make any purchase.

SA was out and didn’t text back in time for an appt for my mom to buy RTW. But, she ended up going on her own and meeting a nice SA who she will contact in the future. But, she has enough bags, so she doesn’t care about that.

Hi. I had RTW with leather pieces & my usual dry cleaner don’t dare to do (Big Mama). So I asked my SA & she recommended Jeeves at Pacific Plaza. They charged 50% on top for RTW with leather pieces. It’s still reasonable, ard $30 for a jacket with leather pieces. But they asked me to sign a waiver form. I was hesitant & skeptical at 1st since they asked me to sign an agreement that basically saying they don’t care even if they ruin your item. But i went ahead and they did nicely. I plan to send my H RTW there moving forward & the rest to my usual dry cleaner.

So far I have not purchase any RTW with leather details/trimmings other than those that has a tiny piece of leather on the zipper. Maybe you can try the one which Bagsaddicts mentioned.
