I had this conversation before few months into the wait when I feel I have gathered enough pre-spend for 2nd qb based on self calculation assuming 1:1.x
I had thought I could wait for 2 qb concurrently and was told by my SA that there has to be some gap between collection and next submission. Now that the numbers seem to be getting larger as I keep buying things I really love, I’m too scared to think about it or bring up this conversation again but I told myself to be prepared to change boutique if I’ve been played out eventually (ie. my prespend cannot be used for next qb) because I will be extremely upset and disappointed.
My SA has been very good to me, helping to order things I like and bringing out all the beautiful and popular items not on display without me requesting for them. Prompt reply to messages too.
I also wonder if my 1st qb took so long because I got 3 non qb in beautiful colours within a relatively short period, one of which was after my qb got approved.
As the days go by I get paranoid from time to time as I see everyone else collect their bag. How long did you guys took for your bag to arrive?

Were you asking for a special bag like cargo, shadow, exotic, touch, etc? Because like what @Daosabao said, if your prespend is more or less $60K already…

Anyone approved of a qb in second half of 2022? If you have received your bag, how long did you wait for?

My SA submitted my request last September.
Then she went on ML from Oct to Jan so we didn't have any contact.
I casually asked her about it a month ago, she reiterated that my request had already been submitted and it will take time.
So currently I'm still waiting for my bag.

No, I was waiting for just a normal leather bag.

Thanks for all your advices and my sincere apologies. I went to sum up every single of my purchase just now and realised I had just exceeded 2nd qb prespend. The figure I had peeped into at the corner of my eye on my profile seem to include the non qb prices. So now that I have already exceeded my 2nd qb prespend at 42+k. I should also still stop buying until my 1st qb arrives right? Thank you all.

I suggest u to slow down. H appreciates long term consistent customer instead of customers on guerrilla warfare. It doesn’t mean u reach ur spend for 3rd qb, u r gonna get bags very fast…..not in current climate anyway.

Yes, I totally understand it doesn’t work that way. Unless those customers like Jamie. I really like their things and before I knew it I got a shock at my prespend amount and felt paranoid about my qb. After all I haven’t even receive one qb yet. I should definitely slow down. For now I will not request for anything and hopefully none of the things I ordered arrives. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years buying random things in different countries, never buying qb because I don’t know how it works. I just started in SG last year after reading through the sharing by everyone here. Thank you and everyone here for being so kind to share what you know.

If u feel u really like their stuff then just go ahead to buy them. Since you have been buying with for so long without strings attached (no qb).

What many ppl come here to ask is that if buying more things will help them get the bag faster….don’t even bother to try.

I see. I do like birkins and kellys, just never knew how to get one. My spending in the past wasn’t a lot a lot. Actually feel wasted that I didn’t know how it works before. Also having a new profile is not as good as a decade old profile but too late. Now that I kind of know how it works , I do want to try and maximise my advantage (in terms of matching prespend with qb). I should’ve kept a tab on my spendings. Now I know and will be more diligent.

Maybe I add some background. SA says I’m eligible for B or K and told me the estimated wait time. Think about which colour combo and to let her know. She acknowledges after I provided my preferences. Also my SA has once informed on a separate occasion that I don’t need to follow up once she has confirmed she has put in a request. She will let me know when it arrives. And she did. So I respect that and I didn’t want bother her.

Just to add to the experiences, I believe when SA said they will put in the request for QB, it should be enough to get a QB but there’s a second step of approval which is for the moment when bag arrives and officially to be assigned to you. So there could be a waiting period and in this waiting period if you continue to spend, it makes an extra ammunition to fight for your bag if there are multiple people waiting for the same bag.

Anyway I had a request put in Nov 2022, and was Not approved for allocation until Jan 2023. Definitely not a question of spend so my guess is because I had got a non QB just 3 months ago so I was on lower priority.

Totally agree! This is what I did after hitting the prespend and requested for a qb. I know what I requested is a popular spec (but I also gave other options) so I still bought after requesting, of course only those that I really liked, and true enough I got my first choice. I didnt bother asking my SA if my spend after the request will be rolled over or not, I just assumed it wont as long as I get what I really want. To add, while waiting, I didnt follow up or ask my SA directly about it. We didnt even chatted that much because I was overseas for almost 7 months. I just received the message when the bag arrived and my SA asked me if the spec is approved to me - honestly, it was a no brainer because it was my first choice. Haha.

I also wonder under what circumstances will it be disapproved. I didn’t know that when the bag is here, it has to be approved by SM too. Now I know. I was told if get non qb while waiting for qb, it will delay the qb. I’m not sure if there is a difference between the non qb being offered by SA vs one which the customer asked for. Not sure if all the above I was told is true actually. I have a friend who waited 4 months for k25 but bought 2 non qb while waiting, 1 of which was a week before collecting the qb. Her prespend is not very high though, just enough to meet qb and did not buy anything while waiting for the qb except for the 2 non qb.

For the delaying of qb if received non qb within 3 months, do you know if the SA has to track themselves or the store has some tracking mechanism. I’m reaching 3 months since receipt of my non qb. Wondering if I should nudge my SA.

Thanks for sharing. Indeed the journey varies for different people. It’s nice to have this platform for H lovers in Sg to share their journey.

You can crack some jokes with your SA to “nudge” her a little. That might make the situation a little light-hearted. Nevertheless, best wishes to you! Keep us posted!

I think it really depends on store and SA. U can just ask ur SA.

In the same store, my previous SA said she doesn’t wait 3 month and even offered me non qb just weeks before I get my qb. But after she left and I changed SA, new SA says need to wait 3 months after meeting pre spend to submit my request.

I’ve already been given a timeline. I also just collected my non QB but SA didn’t imply it’s due to collection of bag. I also didn’t ask since I am not in the hurry and want to enjoy my new bag first. But I plan to shop to continue to buy things I like. I’ve never asked about the topic about should I stop or if my pre spend goes into my 2nd bag. But I will definitely ask so I know what to expect if SA is willing to share.

What if I gotten my non QB first then only qualify for QB, does it cause a delay ?

Actually come to think of it I think I did ask before about non QB will delay QB and was told no. So I’m guessing it also depends on what specs was requested for the QB. If it’s popular and a few people are waiting maybe those that didn’t get a non QB will get priority. Just a hunch. Will never know.

Anyway it’s an exciting journey and I am definitely thrilled just knowing that at one point in time I’ll get to bring my QB home.
