Why not? Since it is unlikely to affect the timing of your QB offer, unless you hit pre-spend in the next 1-2 months or have a very specific and/or popular request for the picotin that might take a long time to fulfil. I’m building towards a QB as well, was recently asked if I was interested in other bags like the picotin but the QB will be pushed back. Maybe let your SA know you would like one and ask how long you might need to wait for one in your preferred specs?

Hi hi, Hermes newbie here. would like to check. I started building my profile for a QB in May and just gotten my QB. My sa asked me to build towards my 2nd QB. Can I ask, while waiting for my 1st QB, I spent another 10k or so extra…. Will this be counted towards my 2nd QB? And as we are approaching year end, will the “extra” 10k still be counted next year? Thanks.

Hello all!

As i new to Hermes, i would like to ask opinion or point of view from the “expert” here.

I started my journey at NAC and i do not have any SA, just purchased an oasis and thats it.. since my office near Liat, i often go to Liat during lunch time just to check if they have some of the items on my wishlist (no SA yet). after several purchases i chose an SA (i feel he was genuine on selling and served me well) and asked if he can help me find my wishlist and inform me if the goods arrive. We then communicate mostly thru Whatsapp. (I still visit Liat on weekly basis and meet him during his shift).

But after those visits, i noticed he did not make any effort to inform me if the items available at Liat. And he once said “oh those items in your list, some regular also could not get”. I was just “oh okay…” (well im not your regular hah)

One day during my “random” visit, i did not ask for him, instead im okay with any SA, so i was assigned to someone and i just asked if today they have the SLGs that i wanted, and this SA immediately bring me to the 2nd level and find for me what i want.

From my case, do you think i need to change SA and find new one? Or i can just purchase with random SAs? Will it effect the QB if i really wanted to go for it?

It doesn’t really help you when u didn’t mention u wanted a QB right from the start and stick to 1 SA. Ur purchases still count in 1 store towards QB but u need to find an SA willing to help you get it. U may take longer, and/or more money…I dunno.

I use Le Blanc Silk and Lingerie wash (recommended by an lnstagrammer with vast experience with silk scarves), ordered from Amazon. It’s quite expensive but only need a few drops. I dilute the detergent with cold tap water, dunk my scarf in, give it a few swirls and rinse til water is clear. I carefully ‘push’ the excess water out and dry indoors. Just as they are about but not quite dry yet l put the iron on full steamer function and iron with a piece of muslin cloth on top. So far so good, scarves have retained their shine and became soft.
Don’t wash with normal detergent, the colour will become dull

I am no expert but my experience has some similarity with yours. I initially also asked my sa to keep a lookout for my wanted items via watsapp, she will say ok but l never hear back from her. Even when l see on the online store that there’s a availability in store. So l wisened up and just use watsapp for appointments and only ask her about the items when l see her. Sometimes she will tell me no stock and l take her word for it, but sometimes she surprises me with even more beautiful things. So l guess if your sa delivers when u meet in person he may be worthwhile sticking with?

I can sympathise. The waiting times can be months-long for popular items, unfortunately.
From personal experience, if my SA has input my request into the system, the item will definitely be reserved for me when it arrives. In fact, my SA is on maternity leave now and the SA covering for her has been keeping me informed about items that were requested 5-6 months ago.
You have to decide whether you want to trust your SA or not. And if you want to continue with him, try to find a chance to bring up the topic of your QB.

this depends on the store you are at. i believe at Taka some of the SAs do count the spend towards 2nd QB once the first QB is approved. at LT this is not the case i.e. 2nd QB spend starts after paying for the first QB.

Thank you for all those who replied me, it was a very difficult decision as my current SA at Liat tower was very nice to me but now i think he has changed.. and as per suggestion above, i think i will not chit chat with him thru Whatsapp but just make an appointment and chit chat in person. hope this will helps! i will give him one more chance :biggrin:

and i spoke to an SA at NAC regarding QB, little did i know we must stick to one store, since my purchases was spread between NAC and Liat, i feel like my purchase history are useless now :( oh man..

on another topic, if we keep return/exchange item, it will make a bad impression?

I think if it’s not frequently done (exchanges) then it should be fine. Personally I’ll try to top up
