Would like advice ...
Would you buy non quota bags (not popular) from reputable reseller (probably cheaper) or get from the boutique?

Thinking of a Halzan 31 for work

Thank you.
I would prob get fr reseller cos
1. It's cheaper
2. Would not help in upping the quota if getting from boutique
3. May not be able to get fr boutique as well

Im going to Singapore for a business trip in a week and have no idea what the stores are like there. A colleague told me she scored a B on her last vacation there and that it’s not hard to score a K either, but from looking at this thread, that sounds like it’d be implausible?

When was your colleague's last vacation to Singapore? :) the scene has heated up quite a bit in the past few years.

Hi, my friend has an invite to the upcoming private sale but she is not able to go. Am I able to take her place?
Hi @smoothsailor, it says in the invite that you will need to present identification to confirm your identity. Invites are non-transferrable. Not sure if they are really going to check, but u will need present a QR code to enter, and apparently its tied to each specific invite. Hope this helps!

Oh really? My friend only received an email to rsvp. So did not see any restrictions.

Thanks for your reply!

That might be the case many years ago but since covid started it’s almost impossible to get a bag so quickly .
The queue to get into the store may take hours too if you go during peak hours without apptment + Many items are OOS with long waiting times too
Did your friend specify if she got fm boutique or second hand market ?
There are many second hand shops selling BNIB Hermes bags at orchard road .

Since you’re au fait with luxury watches, you should be familiar with the concept of profile building. Maybe start by buying something small with your new SA before she takes you seriously? A 2019 bracelet purchase may not quite bring you to your mini E or mini P. I feel bad for you because I know that you’re sweet in wanting to get something for your wife. But the ladies in this forum have already repeatedly explained that without purchases, the SAs wont give you anything. For example, last Nov you shared that you’re waitlisted for a mini E. It’s been >8-9 months. Now it’s this P18 and the story repeats itself.

I just noticed you asking about many bags for your wife and we already told you that you need a profile. The Arceau watch that you mentioned will really help you.
Hihi!

Ok I need to update what happened since then. I was fortunate to score a dark colored mini Evelyne at LT and I reciprocated by buying a bracelet with the SE. Hence this round, I requested for a Picotin 18 and it's clear that I am getting some shoes and sandals together with the bag. So ya, I am au fait with the rules in the luxury games but within my limited budget.

Heard frm a friend that Hermes store in MBS is tourist friendly...... not sure how true is that though.... maybe you can try book appointment through customer service number listed in SG H web beforehand.

Enjoy your trip in SG
