Hi everyone, any tips on how to tell my SA that I'm very open on colour and leather options for my QB without sounding like a reseller?


Might be a bit of a silly question but this worries me a lot. My dream bag is a b25 in gold hardware, but other than that I have no other preferences and I'm worried that'll make ne sound like a reseller.

I took the liberty of peeking at your wishlist. I see a lot of pink/pastels. No dark colour. What about telling your SA that? That you’re open to any pastel/pink/ light colour in GHW, no dark, gold or black? That narrows the colour down without being too general.

Just a random question , I’ve seen some of you suggesting to look at resellers’ prices to roughly gauge with current pre spend requirement. Just wondering how exactly to gauge ? Like is the reseller’s price suppose to cover all the cost of pre spend ? Or perhaps 80% or 70% of pre spend ?

everyone's prespend is different, but i would estimate it should cover at least 70% of prespend if the bag is selling around double the retail price? not sure if my math pass or not :)

i think it is supposed to cover all of prespend + price of bag. e.g. I have seen the classic colours of B25 gold on gold or noir with ghw going for $36-$38K. we already know the price of a B25 togo is roughly $15K so this will work out to roughly 1:1.3-1.5, which seems to be quite consistent with what people are sharing is the pre-spend nowadays. So that might explain why you see a range of price for a BNIB QB by resellers. Don't forget that the listed price also depends on the seller's desired profit margin so some may mark up more and list at higher price (taking into account that the reseller needs to earn the consignment fee, etc). Then again, it depends on SA and boutique as well.

I got a simple one online, no brand and it works well for me. If anyone have a better one, pls let me know too. The drawstring one seems good too, i am considering to get too.

By the way will the insert be sufficient to keep the shape well? Or I shld still get a pillow. Mine is barely 1 month old.

After bringing it out for the weekend, it starts to grow on me. Does anyone gets the compatible strap for it? I saw some posts on XHS. Any advice?

Thanks for sharing. I saw many reviews and all recommend a pillow to keep the shape long term.
