I just use a normal cabinet. I store my bags with their dustbags and just make sure I air them out once in a while. I also dont put dehumidifier sachets on the bags themselves as they can dry the leather. Aside from airing them out, I keep the cabinet open once in a while for air circulation.
May I know if it is in an aircon environment? Do you sun the bags when you air them too?

so pretty!! congrats! i recently got mine too! in noir, shw

Yaaay congrats!!!:drinks::tup:

Did you specifically ask for a Noir SHW? I initially wanted Vert Cypress/ Anemone with GHW, but the SA said at that time only a waitlist for Etoupe is open?! But since I do like certain neutrals too, I agreed to be on the waitlist for an Etoupe GHW :lol:

I now can make good use of all the colourful twillies I have MUAHAHAHA. Going to do a monthly change :yahoo:

Hello, anyone who has profile at Taka store here? Can you advise after hitting your prespend how long it roughly took for your QB to arrive?

I requested for a K25/b25, SA said might take awhile but I'm trying to understand if I'm looking at 3 to 6 months or 1y+ type of waiting duration...

depends on the colors you want. my gf who only wanted blue nuit K25 sellier (very specific) waited more than 1 year and still don't have. finally she "gave up" and took blue royal instead.

another gf waited 6-9 mths for her etoupe B25 togo....

Hi can I check with you ladies if you anyone has purchased any dry cabinets to store your Hermes bags (and other bags of course)? Is it recommended? I saw one lady posted a link to digihub many pages back. Just wondering what model is good for storing bags and the estimated price. Any info would be helpful as I am currently thinking of adding one while renovating dressing room. TIA

Hi, I store all my bags in the dry cabinet as after moving to my new place (facing sea and forest), it has high humidity (right now it is at 79% in a room without aircon) which is optimal for mold growth. I previously kept my bags in dust bag, in cool place, away from direct sunlight and got a moldy surprise just 3 after covid lockdown and not using my bags. Ended up having to waste $$$ going for H spa.

Typically, I keep the dry box humidity between 40-50%, as at the time of buying, they didn't have a big enough box for bag with the digital control (mine is manual dial which I monitor and adjust).

Every 2-3 months, please remember to moisturise to prevent the leather from drying out.

Hope this helps.

Hi! How do you moisturise the leather? I am not sure what kind of product I can apply on H bags without risking not able to send to H spa in future.

I've always been using Apple brand leather moisturiser. Applying leather moisturiser will not cause you to not able to send the bag for H spa in the future.

Use a small amount and spread it using a clean microfiber cloth will do.
