Rushka - I really love this look and I've been going bananas trying to recreate it. Can you please post instructions for this? Pretty please?

Sorry for the response delay steakfrite :hugs:, life got in the way of tpf time this week! Saw your query on The "what scarf are you wearing" sticky and posted my feeble attempt at instructions there. Though believe me I have zero knotting skills so just play around with it for a few minutes and you will achieve something vastly superior. Have a great weekend!

Thanks to all. The site's working now but I already emailed them. So I have to wait to see if they put in the order. What a confusion. The link they gave me didn't work. It wouldn't put anything in the cart. I kept getting error messages.

Thanks for letting me know you had the same problem with the blue/white scarf. Everytime I would change the color to the blue/white it would revert back to the other scarf. Very odd.

Where is Ruska instructions for tying her scarf. I didn't see it.

lanit and rushka, we are scarf twins, yahoo! I just got mine yesterday but was at work; had to wait last night to see if I did a good thing using robee's precept:"don't think just buy", and it worked!
Now, I am going to play around just like lanit suggested to get the right knot...

Francesca, many of your questions can be answered by doing a search. Thanks.

In their email colette sent me an email with a link. THat link didn't work. I kept getting error messages. I sent them my credit card number and asked them to order it for me. However, this is the last day and they never responded. I sent them about 5 emails. SO I do not know what to do. I don't want two scarves. The site didn't work for about 1/2 hour. I cannot order it now...Not good customer service. Someone should be picking up emails on the last day with the site down.

No I haven't called France. If it's not meant to be, that's it. I don't expect anyone here to do anything. There's little anyone can do. Their site crashed, and they didn't respond. I'm not going to spend a fortune calling France...

Thanks anyway....I'll get another scarf at Hermes ...

I ordered the scarf last week and colette sent me an email requesting a proof of ID (copy of passport...) through email or fax in order to check the identity of the buyer in distance payments. This happened to anyone who ordered in the US? Thanks in advance!

Colette just sent me the DHL tracking info. I am actually kind of shocked that my order went through as I only did it 10-15 at 10pm PT. Did anyone in the US have to pay additional duty to DHL for the scarf upon delivery?

I have ordered other things from them and never had any issues with addiitonal duties assessed, but that said with customs duties I find it can be the luck of the draw.
Items from Colette arrive quickly, sometimes just a few days and they have great online order updates IMO.

Thank you TankerToad and cinderbellas! You certainly are correct about the efficient tracking info. After watching the news tonight about the strikes in France, I am hoping that I am correct in my reading of the tracking and that it has left France. If not, it could be really stuck there for a while.
