They actually were kind enough to make a special delivery to me this afternoon! I am very happy to report it was in perfect condition and I just love it! I think it looks even better in real life than in the pix.

Nanobaobao, I can't understand how that got into the box like that? It may be a tough sell to get them to take it back, in which case the best you can do is have it professionally cleaned.
 
gracekelly, I couldn't understand it either :-( It could be a return from someone else's ...
The thing is its not only stained in several places, it also has some thread pulls which caused the pattern zig-zagged. A dry clean simply wont fix that I'm afraid.
 
@yhd - I was asked to send them a copy of my passport via email or fax since this was my first order from them. Once they receive it, they will send you your order.

Hello crispypritchon, may I ask how long it took them to request your passport copy after you had placed an order?

I ordered the new ltd edition Brides de Gala from Colette's The Away Project <http://www.colette.fr/eshop/article/30650794/hermes-scarf-brides-de-gala-the-away-project/> 5 days ago, but so far I've only received one email from colette confirming my order, which says "We'll contact you shortly with shipping details." Nothing came. I emailed them to ask about progress but no one answered. :confused1:

Now I'm worried and would be grateful if any of you colette.fr customers could please share your experience. Is it a "norm" for them to just ship so slowly, or is it possible that they have screwed up again like what had happened to some TPFers before (order cancelled and refunded)...? Many thanks in advance! :flowers:

I know that some not French TPFERs bought the first limited scarves online, I think they can give you more infos than me ot the way to place your order.

Yeah, I so look forward to experience sharing by TPFers who have done online orders with colette before... My bank confirms that colette.fr has charged my card, but as some other TPFers said earlier in this thread, it doesn't necessarily mean the order is successful because colette.fr could end up cancelling one's order and refund. Grrrrrrrr.

By the way, would you mind leaving a note here when you have heard from colette about shipment of your scarf? They say in the receipt-of-order email they'll email the customer about shipment details. Hope to get some idea if it is normal to have no news nearly one week after the order, or if my order is a screwup... Gosh, I'm so nervous...
