My blue/black Brides de Gala in action for the first time today.

Thanks for the enabling ladies-the polka dots were just too whimsical to resist. And even with shipping to the US price was $25 less than a90 carre at my semi-local H boutique :yahoo:!

Rushka - I really love this look and I've been going bananas trying to recreate it. Can you please post instructions for this? Pretty please?
 
For those of you whose CenC orders were cancelled, you should double check that you received your refund. I had to send an e-mail to customer service to get mine.

Restricter, I just got an email from payPal today saying a refund from Colette was made to my account. Think it was just slow if you paid through payPal.
Sorry that you have to go through the trouble to get your refund. Its already annoying the order got cancelled. :-(
 
Speaking of payments and credits, it may be wise to use a credit card as extra protection will apply to any damages that may occur in the event of shipping-your cc company can assist in resolving disputes from merchants if this happens. Perhaps Paypal offers the same but it is likely the store's customer service will take care of these matters regardless.
 
Unfortunately I passed on the scarf. $43 for shipping and insurance. If it's damaged, I'll have to send it back, another $43...that's $86 in shipping/handling if the scarf is damaged. Plus 8.4 % tax. If I could exchange it in the USA, I wouldn't mind. But this sounds like a lot of trouble, I don't need.
 
Just wanted to say that my scarf arrived beautifully and well packaged-absolutely no damage to the scarf. Totally understand if this is not for everyone's comfort level.
 
I really love it. My mother wants it and in the blue one they have. But I'd be out about $120 ...if any of us get it damaged. I just think Hermes should allow it to be exchanged here or give us a credit. I'm glad it arrived in perfect condition.
 
PROBLEM WITH COLETTE SITE

I got an email from colette and they told me the insurance will cover shipping charges if damaged. I've been trying to order the Blue/White border scarf, but the ADD button doesn't work. Everything was fine yesterday. I do not know if they are sold out. I emailed them for help. Does anyone else have this problem?
 
Please advise. I put in the Blue/Noir scarf ..that's the blue and white scarf correct. When I do this, the photo of the orange and white scarf appears...what's going on?

Have you thought of contacting Colette directly? Your questions regarding ordering and shipping would likely be answered promptly and satisfactorily by them.
