Hello! May I ask what your prespend ratio was for the birkin? Is it typical to me higher at this location? Thank you! 🙏🏽
I'm honestly not sure because I dont keep track. However I have bought from every metier and I would guess that our store is definitely competitive since its the only one in the PNW - I think we also have alot of overflow from Vancouver too. How long have you been shopping and what are the spec you're after?

My SA told me they don't cater to people from Vancouver since they have their own store.

I've only gotten basic alterations done (hem of pants shortened, and sleeves shortened at the wrist) and I did not have to pay for it.

Were your alterations the basic ones or something more complicated?

It’s sleeves shortening for a leather jacket.

Last year I had one leather jacket shortened too. At that time they quoted me an alteration price. I agreed to thinking it was the norm. While waiting for the alteration, which took over 6 weeks? I happened to read here that others were never asked to pay. I thought it was odd, so I inquired at the store and they confirmed the charge. I let it go. Then at pick up, they said they were mistaken, it was indeed complimentary.

I bought another leather jacket last month. Store informed that it’s now ready for pick up and that “this time there is a charge”.

I’m just wondering if anything has changed this year. Since many of you bought from the RTW event, if any of you have had to pay for alteration.

Very interesting. From my understanding, it's outside the realm of "normal alterations" since it's leather. I tried on a leather jacket last year and was told that yes, shortening sleeves is do-able but they didn't mention charge for it. I ended up not getting it.

I did not attend the RTW event but someone I know got a leather article clothing but didn't do alterations...

H seems all over the place with their policies?? I'm sure it was a very pricey piece of RTW, it is unfortunate that they'd charge you for alterations.

Yeah, they seem to be all over the place with policies. This is slightly annoying to me. That’s why I’d like to know what others are told. Shouldn’t they have a more clear guideline regarding something simple like alternations?

I would gladly pay if it’s the norm.

I wish I could offer a data point for reference but neither of the jackets I recently bought needed alterations. But I would feel the same frustration if I were in your situation.
