What is the event going to be like? Just additional stock available?
I’m not sure. It was my first invite and I was too bummed when I found out I’m on call those days, to ask her for additional details. Looking through the thread from other members posting about recent RTW events along the west coast it sounds like it’s usually models walking around, some canapés, and maybe even some runway pieces? I love the fall-winter collection with the blend of biker/rider chic which makes me so sad I’ll be missing this. Not sure if I could pull off the aesthetic with the right ultra high rise leather pants but I definitely wanted to try! Hahah.

While I don't shop at Bellevue, I've been to a handful of RTW events at my local store in the US. Generally they will have someone from the corporate NYC team on-site to help further educate on the pieces, and usually my SA will work in conjunction with store and/or corporate to bring in additional pieces that I may like. I have found it helpful prior to these events that if there is a RTW piece I was really wanting from the season that hasn't yet arrived (or maybe my store didn't order), I will send links and request. There is generally (in my personal experience) some flexibility on RTW transfers to your store when the event is going on. If you are super into RTW, can't make the event but would definitely purchase a couple of pieces (or had some on your radar) - no harm in letting your SA know what you are interested in and see if there's some possibility to accommodate.

@corgimom11 thank you so much for the information and helpful tips. I’m actually available the following weekend so hopefully she can hold some pieces for me. You definitely lessened the sting of missing the event!! :hugs:

I went to the men's RTW trunk show. It was just me, DH, and the SA looking at the normal RTW rack during a set appointment, lol. I don't know if the women's RTW will be different.
Hmm I hope for those attending it’s different than the men’s RTW trunk show…but that does make me feel better too that I might not be missing out too much lol

I think it'll be similar for the women's RTW event based on what my SA said. She said it's not confirmed yet but she thinks it'll be a set up at the lower level (by the shoes) and very casual. She did mention there will be RTW pieces or various colors the store didn't order so it's a great opportunity to check out other offerings if you're into RTW.

My SA just texted me to invite me to a RTW event but I’m working those days . For those that attend that event, please post all the beautiful things so I can live vicariously though you!:flowers:
Do you mind sharing what date it is? I’ve been to other events at this store and was always underwhelmed. I have a couple of items I’m interested in, but I’m also not inclined to go out if my way to get them. I have H fatigue:)

I'll likely attend, at least to see if a couple of items I had requested are in stock. Maybe I'll some see someone from here in person

Hope you both have a fun time and find some lovely pieces! and please update us with pictures!

I might attend too! My SA said she'll update me if there's a time slot I can have but if not, encouraged me to come anyway. I've never been to one of these before... do people dress up?
I personally have never dressed up for my appointments or even to attend events. I plan to but my day gets away from me and I’m rushing to the store in sweats. :P I mind my own business at the store and I rarely register what other people wear, so I’m not sure what the norm is. But I definitely don’t feel judged by my SA or the other SAs when I roll in like a hot mess so I think it’s safe to say it’s totally up to you!

I’ve seen people showed up in sweatshirt and baggy pants in FJ events, so I guess there’s not really dress code per se. however, I do know which pieces I might want to try on for this RTW event so I would show up with something in my wardrobe that I would like to mix and match.

I wonder if that was me wearing the baggy sweatshirt LOL. I'm not a huge RTW client but will be popping in to take a look! What is everyone eyeing?
