Thank you all for all the extra information! (I've been quietly following along!)

As a side question to releases and interesting additions, I've recently seen a few dip dye twillies show up on eBay (stuff seems to crop up in multiples one after the other there). Does anyone have any information about these they might share?
I noted a DD twilly as early as 2010, that does not mean they were born then, just I woke up to them then.

IMHO, they were more of an exception rather than the rule. Never manufactured in vast quantities?

Lots of stuff on Ebay appears in waves, possibly because it came from the sales .

Thanks- that makes sense! A week or so ago, I saw DD Pavois twilly and wondered about the time frame of them, then suddenly saw like 3 more this week....

Good day, Seton! Hope you are doing well.
I recently purchased La Comedie Italienne, almost certain is a reissue. What year did H reissue the design (or maybe multiple years)? Any tips on how to tell the original issue from later one/s apart? Thanks a bunch❤️

Hi, I am trying to authenticate a Hermes scarf that was brought to the consignment shop I work in yesterday in a grocery bag with an armload of other old moth-eaten scarves! It is a Jovence by Leila Menchari (1968) in a royal blue/yellow/green colorway.
-signed by the author
-title
-hem is hand stitched and rolled to the front
-no care tag
-no Hermes copyright
-edges of the scarf are white- perhaps the way it was stored crushed the hem a bit and the insides are poking out? I can poke them back in with my fingernail but have not seen this with other scarves.

I have seen one in this colorway sell online that was authenticated- and I have seen other colors in thie pattern that were authenticated and they all had the Hermes copyright on the other side of the artist signature but this one does not.
Please help! The lady this belonged to said " Oh, is that a good label?" when I told her what it was!!!

I'm sorry but we don't authenticate for resellers. It's in the first post we ask all members to read before submitting a request. FYI it's not permitted to discuss your for sale items on PF either.

A very kind family member gifted me a Hermes Poste et Cavalerie 90cm scarf recently. It was a scarf that she's had for awhile, I believe, but had never taken it out of the box. It's gorgeous, but I don't know anything about Hermes scarves!

Anyway, it was extremely kind of her and I want to return the favor, but have no idea what the value of the scarf would be. Do you have any idea, so that I can get her a gift that says "thank you" clearly enough?

Also, any advice on how I could figure out when the scarf was released?

Thanks in advance!
