Even i own a few treasured finesse designs but from a consumer oriented perspective, they are not my favorites
A Hermes scarf is VERY expensive and one pays for the quality of the fabric, the intricacy of the design and the elaborate printing process that the company if capable of.
The printing process is much better than for other companies: there are scarves with some 40 colors on the silk, and difficult-to-do techniques such as an ombre effect. And unusual colors eg not just any old beige but a beige with just the right hint of pink, or je ne sais quoi that is it TDF.
BUT, the finesse scarves basically do not take advantage of the capabilites of the printing process. There are 2 colors - that's it - one on the field, one on the design. And the colors are usually pretty straightforward eg a basic scrumptious cobalt for the field, but not, a difficult to find exotic petrole or canard blue.
So, while I own finesse scarves and treasure them, I feel that you are not getting your money's worth as in some other designs eg the ones with 40 colors... but, if you love finesse , go for it
