Dear scarfies. I would be very grateful for your help. I am looking for a name and if possible author/year of this vintage scarf.
I have spent hours on internet trying to identify with no luck. I sincerely hope that someone here knows the answers. Many thanks.

2nd edition of Pégase et Chevaux circa 1962 (first edition had the same image, but larger scale with a thinner border)
Artist Unknown

Can someone please tell me that this silk exists on its own (not only as part of the "Trinidad Brides de Gala" hat) - I am dying to have just the silk - in any size :)

Is this available now? Perhaps it's a foreteller of things to come :graucho:

The closest I can-up with is Bride de Gala Shadow as the Finesse versions have 'space' where the Bide de Gala motif is usually. The 'Shadow' has its own rainbow depending on cw (perhaps 01 being the most 'rainbow')

I hope someone else can help.

Thank you for moving this to the proper spot :) Also appreciate your two cents here! I love the "shadow" and "finesse" versions and would cross my fingers this eventually becomes an option too!
It looks like a real ribbon, not a strip from scarf silk. Very pretty! Reminds me of men's jacquard ties.
Aw darn, I could see that...
Agree it is a ribbon, not a swatch from a scarf
You might ask the Twilly thread .. maybe there is a similar twilly
Ask an SA about the RTW collection, I bet there was apparel in this pattern
Interesting, you're saying this is likely a ribbon that came from the RTW collection? The only twilly I can think of is the rainbow-ish "shadow" version but it looks so different.
