I'm not having any luck on that, and have not yet found who designed Cachemire.

I checked my notes and a database not online and there is no artist of note for either. Your best bet is to write to Hermes Customer Service and ask. Cachemire is a vintage design and I vaguely remember someone I know asking H personnel yrs ago about it and getting no artist of record but they recently reissued it in 45cm so things may have changed.

hi - could anyone tell me about scarf label. i have an hermes scarf that has the longer white care label bottom left edge of the scarf but my other scarves have their label top left edge. is this normal? thanks

Is there a reason why you ask?

Pierres GM came in only one black CW (no colored border), both in 2000 and 2004.

it happens.

trying to guess estimate, I would say about 20% of the time, u will find the label on the bottom left instead of the top left corner

The reason I ask is that I just purchased one and I was curious about its issue date (the seller did not know)...so since it was the same for both years (unless the interior colors changed) I guess I won't know, either.

It's the seller's responsibility to know IMO. If yours still has the label attached, white label probably means that its from 2000 and black label means that its from 2004.
