Hi Marietouchet,

This is the marking on the “passage au Moscou” scarf. Everything is the same (label, weight, feel, color, etc) except for this “Hermes pour jamilco” at the bottom instead of Hermes Paris. It’s really too bad. Wonder why they did it this way? I know that was the only way to buy the H scarves in Russia back then...but why put the joint distributor name onto the brand? Seems to “affect” the branding. Is this how the Hermes/shengdu scarves are ? Or are they completely different patterns?

Hi essiedub, don't worry this is just a regular Hermès limited edition scarf, the same type they are sometimes making for companies as a corporated gift. When Jamilco brought Hermès to Russia (as a franchise back then, now it's operating under Paris) they decided to issue a special "De Passage a Moscou" scarf to celebrate the opening of the Moscow boutique and give it as a gift to their clients. Like with all special/limited edition scarves it is more rare and valuable than a regular issue, but it's still Hermes.

Thanks for the background information on this scarf Miskin! I didnt know that it was a client gift for the Moscow opening...what a spectacular event that must have been! There’s not much out there on the scarves that were issued for the Russian market. Were they all the same patterns and same colorways...but just with this marking? It woukd be interesting to know how much volume went through this joint partnership. All I’ve read is that the partnership ended in 2011. Nonetheless I am happy to have this wonderful scarf! You and marietouchet are a wealth of information!

You are welcome, I don't know much but just happened to know this one. The scarf was issued not for the opening of the boutique (it was opened earlier) but it was some kind of big deal =) The scarves sold in Moscow were just the regular H scarves, except for this special edition, no special markings, I am not sure what the tags looked like though. As a franchise they could even have a sale back in the day =)

@marietouchet Thank you so much for your help and expertise!!

I would like to wish everybody a great 2018!

@ipodgirl

I just cant remember the Name, so sorry
yes, it`s from men's Collection, and existed in at least 3 colours
the design represents the different pages of a book

Thank you for the additional information! I’m still traveling but I plan to ask my SA when I get back. That helps me narrow it down a bit for. Hopefully I’ll be able to find it back in US.

The design is so neat! I really should not hesitate when it comes to H. Haha. Lesson learned!

Hi there! I'm looking for some help tracking down the name of a scarf I saw briefly a while back. The print had various H bracelets on the scarf (CDC, clic claq, amongst others). I'm fairly certain the bracelets were arranged horizontally, dangling from a bracelet bar.

Can anyone help ID this one for me? TIA!

It sounds like you are describing the Collier de Chien shawl/scarf. There is also Collier de Chien Remix:
