The mens scarves get short shrift ! Heck ! la chambre des garçons at Maison des Carrés is tiny garret in the attic - full of cobwebs
SHE (who must be obeyed ?) must have got Maison des Carrés in the divorce and and all got was an attic room for whatever he did not move out
PS I prefer humor to explain Hermes behaviour , rational thought does not work , and I too prefer the no drugs approach !

I so wish the editing window was longer than 30 minutes ... I cringe at my typing ... sorry I do try ....
spelling checkers see me coming and suggest all sorts of interesting permutations in various languages, heck they don't suggest anymore , they just pick something out for me ...

Hi @marietouchet and all Hermès lovers. I can say that I am a Hermès scarf enthusiast since I've been looking for nice silk scarves as a gift for my gf but it went beyond the gift objects, turns into a passion. I found nice pieces, many of them are vintage(pls. look inventory of my profile).
(Sorry that I write on this thread because I have not enough privilege to start a new thread.)
I couldn't find any info about it, Could you explain the numbers on the tag?
Have a nice day to all...forumaa.jpg

Welcome; this relates to authentication, we ask that it go into the scarf authentication thread with a link to a currently for sale link. We do not authenticate private sale or previously purchased items. Thanks for your understanding.

Thank you for your notice but I know that rule dear @mistikat, I uploaded the scarf's photo on @marietouchet 's request.
I don't want authentication, just wonder the numbers on the tag.

I appreciate your explanation but this relates to potential authenticity of the scarf and so the rule still stands. And I am doing this with marietouchet's full support - not preventing her from answering, in case that's on your mind. You must put it into the authentication thread with a link to a currently for sale item or I'm afraid we cannot help you.

That's clear, thank you again.

Too funny! I wonder who got the pet rock, or if perhaps they are sharing custody.

Hello fine experts,
would anyone be able to identify this model for me (if this is indeed an Hermès scarf)?

This is a scene from the movie Death Becomes Her. I am not an expert, by any means at all, so this might not even be Hermès. The colours and motif are what I, personally, (with my limited knowledge in the matter) would consider classic Hermès, though. But then again, I might just be completely clueless. As you can see, this is my first post. I signed up hoping someone knowledgeable here might be able to help me out after I didn't have much success browsing http://piwigo.hermesscarf.com/index?/category/Home

You have a good eye! No need to apologize here. We are all at various stages of learning, even those who have been collecting H for ages.

It's called Wedgewood. This is a fabulous color way!!

Wow, I'm a bit speechless... I certainly did not expect to receive a reply, and have this identified within 1(!!!) minute. That's just incredible. I thought this was the purseForum, not Hogwarts
Thank you so much, momasaurus! You wouldn't believe how long this has been on my mind, nagging me.
Finally, I can research this model properly, and see if I can purchase it somewhere.
Have a lovely.. the loveliest day!!

edit: Turns out the design was featured on the HSCI archive site after all, and I was either blind or overwhelmed http://piwigo.hermesscarf.com/picture?/5091/category/136-blue
Thanks again!
