Welcome to SD and the UTC store! :flowers: Our UTC store may be small compared to others but we  getting our dose of vitamin C here.

In case you get limited response about meetups, this post will probably explain why

Best to meet others while shopping, at H special events and via your SA. That’s how I met some of my local H gang.

Again, welcome and happy shopping!

:D thank you for the information, @Txoceangirl! I remember you from the LA/OC/SD thread - I posted a question there, and you were kind enough to answer.

Hi Lexielexie

welcome to San Diego, I shop in the San Diego boutique for many years now, let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to answer them. I think we have the best boutique here in the West Coast!

UTC leans more to relationship rather than spend. If you are just in it for a quota bag, your chances are better elsewhere as they don’t have the same levels of inventory as larger stores. They really work to keep their loyal clientele happy and weed out bag hunters.
I second what Txoceangirl said. It is about the long term relationship and love for the brand and appreciate the story and craftsmanship of each piece. Over the years I have seen the boutique grew from a little store in Fashion Valley to the temporary store here in UTC and looking forward to the new store grand opening in Feb 2023. Every single one of the SA working there are wonderful and very friendly, with the COVID situation they are by appointment only but I actually prefer it this way. It gives the SA more time and attention to you and not feel rushed because they have to attend to other clients at the same time. I was just there yesterday and the store is very well stocked now gearing up for Mother’s Day. Typically when I go in, the Jewelry sections are empty and bag display cases are empty as well but they have plenty of selections now and you will probably find something you like.

Are they moving again February 2023?

Hey lyang,
Thank you for sharing your experience!! I have some experience with H from other state but wondering how it is like to shop in San Diego H store.

If you don't mind, I want to ask for the advise. I recently moved to San diego and first visited UTC H store a few weeks ago. They didn't have the item that I was looking for, so my SA who was very kind and generous, would let me know if they get their shipment this month. (The SA gave me the card to keep in contact) I still didn't get the text message from the SA, but it seems like their shipments arrived?! Should I keep wait until my SA text me? (I actually did text SA for asking about other item a week ago but never received an answer) I just don't want to bother my SA...

Thank you so much for reading!!

I think the SD SAs are very responsive. I know that one was out sick last week and into this week. Perhaps that is your SA? The SD store doesn't allow their staff to take Hermes phones with them and they don't use personal phones for texting here. I'd try again with something like "hi, hope you are well, not certain you got my last text etc"... HTH

Ohh okay thank you so much for your advice!!

Does anyone know if they are operating on appointment only right now? And does anyone have an SA they'd be willing to connect me with? I live about 40 mins from the boutique and would love to pop in for the first time for my birthday.

They have open up for walk in now, you still have to wait outside for SA availability but you can sign up for ad hoc visit

Anyone been to UTC hermes lately? I was there for the first time last week and was told stock is the lowest it’s ever been so did not leave with any handbag on my wishlist. Hope this is really just temporary! I want to build my portfolio but it’s hard when there is barely anything..
