I got the coat inspired by @Bdbunny ! I couldn't resist the design and I loooooved the length. I'm 5'7" so it can be harder to find longer length coats for me. I got it in a 36 and probably still could fit a thin sweater. This is my first RTW piece and I'm so excited! In fact, I was too excited and forgot to ask my SA about tailoring. If I wanted the waist slightly taken in, is that something they could do?

@pinkorchid20, what I find offensive is the comment made that the pants were sold to other
clients who had no issues. Really! Perhaps no other issues that your SA was willing to discuss/share
Since you have a long standing relationship with this SA, it's disappointing to know how she handled herself.
Hopefully she has learned that in challenging a long standing client she may have alienated her.
Would expect H to step up to the plate, recognize a design flaw & issue a goodwill credit, JMO

This would have been my expectation. However, I was informed nobody in my country could make this decision, only Paris (despite consumer laws. The purchase was clearly made with Hermès in my country). I don’t think she realizes or cares, things have clearly changed in my store over the past months so I see this as a clear sign. Again, highly appreciate the encouragement and your time to respond!

Looks awesome on you! Yes they can do that! But I would try it on with a sweater or something you may wear in winter before doing that just in case.

ETA: oops I just reread your post- you already tried it with a thin sweater lol.

We are twins 👯 I will try with a few more just in case.

I have it in the purple - I’m short and a bit chunky so the 38 is quite long on me - above the knee compared to this mini which looks similar to the version shown on the model.View attachment 6218528
