I tried a sweater shirt and the “cropped” pants today. The cropped pants reach the calf of the model in the picture but they are almost the full length to me. Why??????? Lmao.

I’m waiting for a pair in two size smaller to come in, maybe they will be a little more cropped. Lol.

I own the cropped pants in 2 colors size 34. I’m just shy of 5’2. I wear mine high waisted with low boots or heels. I like where they fall on me. just cropped enough bc at our height we can’t go too cropped. Hopefully the smaller size will be perfect. I love the fit although they wrinkle easily.

Happy to report that I have joined the tuxedo jacket club :P Got a size 34 which was almost a perfect fit, the in-house tailor will shorten the sleeves and make a few tweaks to the armhole area at the same time. I was afraid that shortening the sleeves would spoil the proportion vs the jacket length for me as not only am I short (5’ 2” on a good day) I also have shorter arms. But thankfully not so as I do love the jacket for its length. And I agree with everyone that the price point is really the chef’s kiss here!
I also got the “cropped” (not) pant in Gris, after trying the Rose Bubinga which is a nice colour but season limited.
I too had the sleeves taken up and kept the length on the size 34. i have a black medor belt i plan to wear with the tuxedo jacket. The gris cropped pants are so pretty. The color reminds me of beton. What are you wearing with the pants? I’m planning to do a monochromatic look just waiting for the right top.

Anyone see this dress in the US yet or have details? It’s FW25.

Also available in white, very chic:

Centenary Collection:
I was told if anyone is interested in the centenary collection, it will be limited quantities, so let your SA know to put you on preorder list. (I’m not 100% convinced; will talk to my SA first re the fit and fabrication bc if it’s really geared towards tall people — not just hems; I’m picky about pocket placement — it’s not for me)

Fit:
IMO only, and with my vague recollection, Nadege was from that group of Belgian designers and they did not really cater to shorties or people with curves, so I still have to cherry pick my choices. For example, Nadeges high waists on bias skirts and leather pants are impossible for me to zip bc of the length of my torso and curve of my hip. Some of the lower abdomen details like kilt fasteners or corset lacing just won’t lie flat. And, some pockets seem to puddle around my midthigh to knee.

More on Cashmere pilling:
@astorytotell , I have a double faced cashmere medor button car length jacket that pilled after some wearing , but my etoupe ribbed cashmere moto zip jacket pilled after maybe two wears. I don’t mind the distressed look on some sportswear , so I still wear it, but I
think twice. My cashmere silk sweaters, on the other hand, wear like iron.

At FSH a couple of years ago, the cashmere moto jacket was 3K €. I’m okay wearing it with t shirts and jeans (pic above), but I would not be happy with an 8K coat that pilled after a few wears. I have a Chanel cashmere coat that is perfect after over a decade.
