i don’t recall a shearling coat. Was it reversible like last years? Be cause I thought a reversible shearling bomber last year was 11K maybe? And the year before, a runway off white shearling with huge dark Hs dyed on it was 29K? Not entirely sure of prices bc my memory is not the best. also, I think prices are rising for H leather RTW

May I ask if you remember if the leather equestrian jacket was at our RTW event? I saw it in Montreal in a fabulous blue, but it was way too small. . , I thought it was 6500 ish, but not sure.

It’s not reversible, I’ve been looking for photos but can’t seem to find any. It was cream and it comes in black with dark blue piping. It’s crazy how expensive things are getting in general.

I did see a leather jacket but did not Inquire pricing for it. I’m sorry I could not be more helpful.

what did you end up taking home?

I ordered two things, a stretchy jacket and a trench coat with piping (Madison didn’t have my size in stock) so I didn’t get to take anything home that day. I’m not sure I liked it when they said stuff on some Racks was for order only and some you could buy to take. Somehow I think chanel or dior make it a bit easier even if stuff comes in slower waves.

I don’t have my toile jacket yet; when I bought it, the tailor said she was super stretched to the limit, so I said I didn’t need it until September ( it’s too warm to wear until then, and I will be away anyway).

@haute okole was able to find beautiful things in her size at her boutique though perhaps she will chime in here

Ohhhh! I am so in trouble with what I walked out of the store with. My appointment was a 2 part series that took 5.5 hours. Embarrassing. Here is just a portion, a smidge. I did not take a picture of the new diamond H watch, the two pairs of wide leg trousers, the twilly collar silk dress, the Pegasus, the Buddy, a twillaine, a gorgeous silk shirt seen on the runway, cashmere hoodie and matching cropped bottom and skirt, and bikini. Wow, kids are expensive. Good thing I rescheduled that facelift for next decade.

I saw the trench and thought it was so chic but I hardly wear real clothing while running after my lil devil and thought best to pass since they didn’t have my size to try.

I ended up with a down jacket that I probably didn’t need but thought it would be good for my normal casual life. I also like that it’s reversible. And 2 twilliane, a cashmere skirt and sweater set. I didn’t think it would be for me but my SA had me try it on and it looked so good on my hobbit like proportions I couldn’t say no. I have the wrap jacket for the new store opening pre ordered as well as the shearling jacket in black.

The jacket looks absolutely amazing especially with the forest green. The reflected light from the crystals will surely brighten every step you make.And finally la fameuse pièce de résistance, the matte croc Birkin is too die for!

@nashpoo , I would have tried on that jacket if I had seen it. I did try on a hooded more conservative one that was just meh (dumpy and preppy) on me, but yours is much more chic. Also, not to be cheap, but last season I think my double faced medor cashmere jacket was closer to 4K, (ans the year before, my baseball sellier leather sleeved jacket similarly priced, so I just wasn’t interested enough in this for 6200. OT, but I think a useful value comparison since they are similarly priced. . , (I was considering a chanel cashmere cardigan jacket for 6400 which would be better usage for me, but how much black cashmere does someone need lol) last two pic

I can't help you here other than to enable you. I bought a similar, but slightly different black short coat last fall. Got a lot of wear out of it just in the first season and it is really a good investment RTW piece for the long-term if you are in a climate where you can use it often. The short cut coat was really great for me since it can get chilly, but not super cold where I live to where you would need a long coat other than a month out of the year at most. Even if not this specific piece, if you're interested in a coat like this, would recommend you inquire with your SA, I am sure they'd be more than happy to figure out what all can be sourced.

Aww thanks for letting me know!! I’m jealous of the baseball you got a few years ago.. i wanted it at the time but never pulled the trigger! I hope they bring back more baseball jackets. My sa has the jacket in a 38, but i Think it might be a bit too large.. I’ll try it on and update!

You know usually I’m not for twilliane cuz of my hobbit like proportions but maybe the champagne I was given gave me rose colored glasses because this time j thought I looked fantastic. I felt sexy lmaooo

Yes i was thinking a short coat would be perfect and not so fussy for me wear. Hopefully the jacket is cute on me, if not i might see if the classic short coat is available!

I am not a good photographer at all but I picked up two more pieces. The first is a cashmere coat with medor detailing. I took a second picture to show the leather detailing as you would never know this piece would have it by looking at it on the website.

I also picked up another twillaine cardigan. But this one is quite different from what I have seen in that the sleeves are cut shorter. It was described to me as sleeveless, but it personally fits on me like a short sleeve. It is really unique and a great layering piece that I will be able to use almost year round I think since I am in a warmer climate.

Coat twins! I just bought that cashmere coat a month ago! I fell in love with it as soon as I put it on, it's soooo soft, and I love the amazing voluminous but not too baggy cut!
