Thank you for posting the pictures with the dresses. They’re both on my list - I may need to size up, but lengthwise they should be fine as I’m a touch over 5 feet. BTW they look so lovely on you.

I think the dress is lovely on you, but i think I know what you mean bc I have some chanel knit dresses that are similar in cut that I never wear. I think the issue is perhaps you might feel that the cut is too form fitting across the backside even if it is flattering. If you go up a size, I think the dress would be too baggy all over. JMO

This looks really nice on you. Did you happen to try the sweater too? just wanted to know how the sizing of the sweater compares? my SA has 38 set aside for me but I’m usually 36. I am now leaning towards the cardigan instead after seeing your photos.Just received this super soft, sooooo comfy cardigan in the light baby pink cw. I got a 36 as 34 was sold out and although it is a bit roomy... I absolutely love it. No pulling and hangs perfectly even though it is spacious. The buttons slay me too. This is perfect for my more relaxed lifestyle and the pink is perfect. I paired it with a white tank so you can see the diff btwn the pink and a white color... it is a tad more pink IRL. I love logo that is not in your face LOGO. It's subtle enough to be IYKYK. thx for letting me share

Tried on a double faced cashmere short jacket in blue aquatic yesterday at Hermes and thought of you !!

Every time you see a model on h.com with her hand at the back of her dress, shirt or top. You know she's holding it to make the silhouette look more fitted. I wish H wouldn't do this. The point of having models show the items online is to see how the actual garment is cut and will look on the human body.
I must say I like the new(?) kimono beach 'dresses' although these are very beach.
The "Tatersales" short beach windbreaker would be great for Summer, beach, mountain or street, but no way am I wearing 100% polyamide on a warm summer's day, why couldn't they make it in cotton?

I said the exact same thing to my SA! There’s quite a few models with their arms behind their back too! I don’t believe for one second the models are a size 38 either. They’re probably modeling a size 38 which is why they’re having to cinch it!
I rely on measurements of models and the size they’re wearing to know what I should order. This makes it difficult.
