So the pockets in front are actually functional. One is for AirPods and the other one is a good size for a power bank. You can see my charging cord coming from it to my phone in one of the pictures. There’s also a slit pocket for your passport or boarding pass. And a big zippered pouch in the back and a smaller one in the front. The inside looks pretty much the same as the other RMS. I chose Rouge H for the handle and wheels. And it comes in a massive blue box!

Took it on her maiden voyage yesterday and trying to be zen about scuffing it. 😬😬 I put the canvas cover on it to put it in the bins for security. Took off the cover to try out all the pockets etc while I was hanging around in the lounge, then put the cover back on to go on the plane. It’s a lot of taking on and off. I think once I get over my OCD and it gets its first scuff, I can just use it and enjoy it without having to do the cover, which is honestly not that easy to put on. It is super cute and rolls very smoothly. Also VERY light!! That was unexpected !! I think it will be great for short weekend trips.

My giant deauville tote fit on top and I did not have any trouble rolling it all around CDG like that. I just took some photos with my B35 since someone was asking. It does hang over but it was fine if I hold the handles while rolling it around, which is what I usually do anyways.

PS I saw another woman at the airport with the galaxy space version. I chatted with her about it and she had also just purchased it. She did not have the cover on it. Hers had a cute coordinating green handle and 2 green wheels and 2 blue wheels.

Luckily I am only 5’2” and the handle is the perfect height for me lol! And did I mention that it’s light? (I usually look for a tall person nearby to help me if my husband isn’t with me lol.)

ETA: I usually roll my carryon beside me, not behind me. Not sure if that would make a difference for you @cravin?

Well, I’m 6’5, and sometimes if I’m late or something, I won’t have the leisure of rolling all 4 wheels beside me. I usually do have all four down, but there are times that I don’t. When I had the RMS handle fully extended and put the bag behind me, even regular footsteps had my heel hitting the bag. It’s a real shame. I told my SA that if they ever decide to make a model with a longer handle, that I’ll be the first to buy it.

Today, I acquired my second R.M.S. suitcase in Noir Taurillon Regate, and I noticed that on the receipt, it is listed as "R.M.S. II".

The only discrepancies from the Fauve I purchased in July 2022 are:

- The TSA lock, which no longer features three flat wheels from 0 to 7 but rather the traditional ones found on any suitcase, from 0 to 9;
- The leather part of the zipper slider has been shortened and now only covers the metal part;
- The opening button is no longer smooth but engraved with the Clou de Selle motif.

Other than that, it appears perfectly identical to the one released in late 2021.

Has anyone noticed any other updates?

I've also observed a slight weight discrepancy: the new version is 32g./1.13oz lighter.

I do not own the RMS 12H bag but have seen it a few times while visiting H stores on my travels. It's a medium size bag and in one of the stores, it was displayed sitting on top of the RMS suitcase just like the image below. As the strap length is adjustable, I believe one can shorten it to have it be attached more securely over the handle of one's suitcase.

DH just got his own RMS trolley in this new colorway! The leather part is a dark blue and we both prefer this colorway to the orange/yellow version. It has a slot pocket in the back. Not sure how much can fit in the pocket though. We were told they are working on a bigger version but as it stands right now, the dimensions do not fit in the overhead bins so it is still in process lol, not sure when it will be released.

Your cargo one and your DH’s pattern are my two favorite patterns. My SA suggested I wait until the larger one (still carry on ) comes out. Not sure how long that would be, but I’m not in a hurry. I do need more interior space since I usually travel with two carry on pieces: my rimowa roller and rimowa weekender (slides over the handles for ease of carry)

Not sure how wide the sleeve for the handle is on the Rimowa weekender, but the handle on the RMS is very wide so the standard width handle sleeves won’t fit. I ususally just sit my tote right on top. Although maybe that 12h bag has a wide sleeve to fit over the RMS.
