What an adorable idea! I can't bring myself to throw the ribbon away, but I don't really have a use for it, so it just sits and waits for inspiration to strike.![]()
I hope you do get to use them. Thanks!

Yes I reuse my ribbons for various things. One is for my doggie collars. Here's my Pomapoo wearing his homemade H collar.

Back in college in the late '80s-early '90s I saw a couple of people wear H. ribbons tied around their wrists like friendship bracelets, as part of a big stack of other metal and textile bracelets. I thought it was pretty clever at the time, although I don't know if a person much older than college age can get away with it!
This is a great topic, though--I have a little stash in my craft room too of H. and other branded ribbons that I want to come up with an awesome use for. An idea I had a while back was to use them as embellishment on a contemporary (i.e. not Victorian/"shabby chic"-looking, but using the same techniques with modern colors and materials) "crazy"-type quilt. I may well still do this, one of these years when I have time to get back into sewing...
What a clever way to use the ribbons!!! The shower was beautifully decorated and the spread looked delicious. Congrats on the new additions to the family. Babies are such a blessing!![]()
