I was a bit skeptical of the straps at first too...but of course the impulse buy bug bit me the other month I got offered this strap that at first I said "what's the big deal, I have a crossbody strap for my Kelly." But took the plunge anyway and I am so glad I did! Here are the specs for those who are wondering or are on the fence: this strap is black swift with gold hardware with the Barenia insert for the luggage tag attachment. I think it is about 85-90cm. It is long enough to wear crossbody, and shirt enough that I can wear it on my shoulder without it hanging too low and looking weird. (I am 5'5"). Both are super comfortable! The Kelly is a 25cm, in Chevre, with brushed gold hardware. Both the shiny hardware on the strap and the brushed on the bag look fine together, as does the different leather types (maybe because they are both black). The tag doesn't get in the way wearing the bag. I took the luggage tag in to get my initials embossed and I'll report back when I get it back! Apologize for the dark lighting but it was evening time Price point was $1900. Yes....not cheap. But I really like the look it gives the bag and it was worth the impulse buy for me! I have 4 of these straps - 2 canvas, 2 leather. I absolutely love them. Extremely comfortable and adds just the right amount of fun to my neutrals. I’ve had the canvas ones for about 4 months now and they still look new. I do rotate my bags frequently though. I can imagine them looking perfect on your 1923. Hope this helps!
the smaller straps wont allow it to go on certain D rings of several bag designs, my SA has shown me that while trying to fit a smaller strap (canvas) i believe it is the 2.5 cm width one, e.g. onto a TPM size evelyn ..
It won’t even fit Evelyn TPM. Evelyn TPM has normal D ring. I believe It will only fit the new mini Bolide.
I found some pictures to show the difference between the sizes of the clasp. The one you got is supposed to be same as the mini bolide clasp.
