So I have just been dying from stress because of an impulse purchase of an ostrich Lindy 26, which is the biggest amount I have ever spent on a bag and it’s not even on my wishlist... now I am thinking of returning it, but I am worried that I will be labeled as the PITA customer who is super fickle. I think in the UK, I can get a full refund if I return it within 14 days... what I am most concerned about is: Will this ruin the relationship with my SA? Will this ruin my history?

If you are not happy or have second thoughts, its too expensive a purchase to be stressed out about, IMO
I suggest you be very candid with your SA about your feeling about the purchase & just try to move forward
No bag & no relationship is worth putting yourself in this state, IMO

Hi! Has anyone had experience of exchanging a bag (the harder to come by ones like a mini roulis, constance, bolide 27) for one in a different colour within the exchange window? Wondering if H would allow such an exchange?

heard that exchange for other items like scarves, fashion jewellery are pretty straightforward, but that it may get tricky for bags.TIA!

They can’t exchange for an item they don’t have in stock and they likely won’t go to any effort to source one for you (especially a Constance). I honestly don’t even know why they use the term “exchange” when I believe they just process it as a return for store credit and then use the credit to pay for the new item. But yeah, if the one you want to exchange for is in their current stock, and if they approve the return of the initial item, the process should be simple enough. Otherwise, they will just leave the store credit on your account and let you figure it out later (whether you want to wait however long it takes to get the other bag in, or spend the credit on other items, etc)

Thank you so much for clarifying!! :)
