Hermes Purchase Regrets

I have one regret. I regret that some years ago, I did not bring my passport with me when I went to the George V store in Paris.
It's because I wasn't really planning on buying anything. I was just there to look. I wanted to see what a Plume Voyage looked like in person.
An SA chatted me up and asked me what I'm looking for. I said I just want to see what a Plume Voyage looks like. She said they have it in green and red Swift versions, and that she could bring them out if I like. I said of course I would like that, and then she asked for my passport. I said I don't have it with me. Then she said, "I can't really show it to you unless you show me your passport."
I thanked her and left the store. The end.
Bummer.
Seems strange that you can’t even see it without passport? I wouldn’t have expected any issue buying it much less looking at it…?

Reactions: Hat Trick
My biggest and most expensive regret: falling for the pressure to buy a diamond fine jewelry piece that is not something I would pick for myself:/ I tried to politely decline it 3x and my SA rang it up anyway… it was a very awkward position to be put in. I ended up going home with it, frustrated and sad that the SA pushed me to buy something I said I wasn’t sure about.

Very few regrets, mostly regret that I didn’t realize Hermes designers changed regularly.
Discovered Hermes when Martin Margiela was the designer, then after him Gautier. These two are my all time fave designers, bought what I could but would have bought far more if I’d have a better overview of the brand.

Not a terribly bad regret, just expected Hermes would continue

I'm with you on this-My favourite Hermes designs were all produced during their reign.
