I am kind of surprised at the complete lack of info on this sale. I went Friday (2x) and Saturday (1x). The posted hours were incorrect - closed at 6PM and not 7PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2PM on Sunday. It was VERY well organized. You lined up in a parking lot about half a block away and were given wrist bands with numbers. Groups of 10 were escorted from the parking lots to the building where you were required to check all outerwear and handbags. You could take your phone and wallet (phone was not taped or limited but lots of signs that said no photos). From the coat check you waited to go up the stairs in your group of ten. Once the ten ahead of you was admitted to the sale, your group of ten waited at the top of the stairs to go in one by one as people left. I went at 8:45 (for 9AM admission) on Friday and was in in under an hour. Approximately the same wait time for my other visits. But when I left Saturday at 4:30 there was no line and you could walk right in to the coat check.
Once you got in you could get in the jewelry line (wait time ranged from 30 minutes to over an hour) or shop scarves, shoes or ready to wear. Prices were as previously posted - 50% off retail for jewelry and shoes, 60% off mens ready to wear.
During my first visit on Friday morning it was far less crowded and you could get in line for jewelry and pop out to look at other things and then come back. Very friendly group. This was not the case on my other visits when the lines were longer.
Shoes - No Oren sandals as previously reported. Very few shoes over size 40. I wear a women's 10 but closer to 10.5/41 and there were very few in that size. I did buy a pair of black boots (Riley) and clunky heel sandals. To my surprise, size 40 in the boots was perfect and 39.5 in the sandals. Got a gorgeous pair of mens driving shoes for a friend's husband as well.
Scarves - I did not look as I am not a scarf person but people were buying many.
Jewelry -- Friday morning selection was wonderful. Sizes and colors were available (red, orange, blue in all sizes and varieties). You got 10 minutes to make your selection and could have one leather, one enamel and one click. You made your selection, the items were put in a bag with your name and you picked them up at the cashier once you were done. Saturday afternoon was a different story - they were out of PM in certain of the H bracelets and color selection was more limited. I did not see any red, orange or cobalt blue on Saturday. Leather was also limited on Saturday and it seemed like small sizes.
Final thought -- everything had a S on it but not obvious. Shoes came with the box.
Not sure what else I can add but I loved the sale, got too much for myself and gifts for others. The way it was organized eliminated the dash and grab and overall it was very civilized.
