Just been to Hermes UK today. Bought the twilly which is 90 pounds now. Before that, the price is 85 pounds and the SA told me the price officially increased on 4th Jan 2011.

Or we colonials will hear that's socialism, which I'm sure some think is equates to communism.

But back to topic, I called KOP yesterday looking for an iris bracelet and their prices have already gone from $430 to $475 for the double looping; KOP is a stand alone. I really wanted a KDT so the search continued. I've had great assistance from H in Washington State in the past because they actually look in the computer! Lucky day, they located the bracelet elsewhere at the old price and no shipping.

We are all bummed by the uptick in prices. It's a trend that is never ending. If only raises in salaries kept up with the rise in food, healthcare, gas, education -- everything, this wouldn't be a painful. What a mood kill, eh?

KOP is a corporate store for some time now and can search all H stores for whatever you want. I have had great success getting even bags from other stores.

Lulilu: Thanks for setting me straight re KOP being in the chain and not a stand alone. Must have confused KOP with Manhasset or somewhere else on the East Coast.

Just been chatting with a friend who lives in Paris and he said he went to buy another H buckle yesterday and it went up about €30 I think! His sister had bought one around September 2010 and paid €150, he was charged €181.

Me too....

Although, I must admit that I naively thought the price of a B would go up USD 200 in the States for the leathers.....have since been told that it will probably be a USD 500 increase at a minimum....but not from a reliable (H) source so I really don't know...
