when they know there is the sale come from all over the world.
Clothes, scarves, shoes etc are usually plentiful at these sales but inventory changes all the time
Just go enjoy & perhaps you will luck out with the unexpected..... that's the fun of being in Paris..

not sure about recent years but before they used to have some slgs and people would rush to that counter first when the sale you open. Cardholders, coin purses, some small wallets, notebook covers, passport covers and little pouches (the one with the snap button; I forget it’s name) were the items I remember being offered. As for bags they had a couple of mini Bombay bags and canvas garden party, also garden party pouches, but that was 10 years ago. Generally there aren’t bags and if there were they wouldn’t be mainstream models like Lindy, evelyne and definitely not b/k/c.

There hasn't been any SLGs and definitely not bags in the past 5 years. No leather goods other than fashion accessories, gloves, or some home goods. :)

I wonder if the scarves and shawls offered follow a specific pattern. Going to check if there is info in previous sale threads about the offerings and trying to predict the season that is on sale...Naturally there might be a mixture of older scarves rotating, anyone else thinking alike or having a theory?

After checking a previous thread I guess they might have scarves from 2 years ago. I was appalled to read about people cutting in the line and some reserving a spot for other people to join in later. In my country that doesn’t happen and would certainly raise some eyebrows. I hope I don’t have to experience that...

I read somewhere that there's a limit on cash spending. I was planning on using cash so I don't pay a lot of currency fees. So if I tried to pay with €1500 cash would they accept it?

Hello, could someone tell me if bags (including personal belongings such as handbag) are meant to be checked in at the reception/entrance? I am travelling on the day of the visit, and wonder if I should take my small carry on luggage with me so I can head straight to the station instead of making another stop back at the hotel.

If I were you I would make the extra trip to the hotel to check in your bags, someone I know turned up with a carry on case and wasn’t able to get in with it and had to find other arrangements to store it. It is also advisable not to wear too many Hermes accessories as that can also delay your entry into the sale. a small handbag with your essentials should be ok.

The scarves and shawls that are offered tend to be from a few seasons ago.
