I'm thinking about attending the sale, but also wondering about the impact the sale has on the boutiques. Is it generally busier at FSH and George V due to sale customers? I'd really like to find a quiet time to visit boutiques and fashion week season is starting too.

I've been in Paris during January & really it is hit or.miss as both locations could be busy.
Couture doesn't start until January 21 so there may not be as many tourists around but H clients
when they know there is the sale come from all over the world.
Clothes, scarves, shoes etc are usually plentiful at these sales but inventory changes all the time
Just go enjoy & perhaps you will luck out with the unexpected..... that's the fun of being in Paris..
