Do you always make an appt or do you just drop in to browse?

Curious what folks do with the Palo Alto store to get better chances at finding things they want to buy. I text my SA photos from online that I"m interested in (and often these are not bags) such as a ring or a pair of shoes but they never have it in stock for me to try on. I don't want to drop in if there's nothing to look at but then I wonder if I should just show up and walk out empty handed could be better to have more facetime with my SA. Any suggestions?

I always schedule an appt just so my SA can give me their undivided attention. I did the same where I showed my SA pictures of what I wanted and just had to wait until it came in. Usually takes a few months to arrive compared to other stores, but always got what I wanted.

Dropping in could be worth it too! I only go on weekends and pop in on weekdays when I can. I’ve always found something that I wanted and never seen on weekends during weekdays.

I have, the tailor is not always in house but my SA marks where the alterations are needed and I’ve been happy with the results.

It’s probably not possible as a walk in. We got a Lindy 26 back a few months ago and it took months unless there is a less popular color around and others have passed it up.

My SA ordered my bleu nuit with GHW Lindy 26 for me, it took about 3 months to get it. I was also fairly new to her at the time, so not entirely impossible.

I would stop by if you can? Seems like since being back open to walk ins they’ve been quite busy!

Oh that’s a good question, I don’t know. But if it’s not too inconvenient to drop by to ask, that’s what I would do if my SA were not responding.

The last time I did make an appt and still had to wait 20-min for SA to finish up with a walk in so I don’t think appts really make a difference to get helped faster.

Is it hard to get a non-qb offer at this store? Seems smaller and majority of the time there is no SA available.
